Itinerary
At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center you can explore various exhibits that provide historical context about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. View a 23-minute documentary film that provides an overview of the attack, its impact, and the significance of the USS Arizona Memorial. After the introductory exhibits and film you will board a U.S. Navy-operated boat for a short ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The 10-minute ride across the harbor is calm and offers views of the surrounding military installations
The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack. Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface. Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war.
On the historic downtown Honolulu portion of the tour, you will experience a blend of Hawaii's rich history, cultural heritage, and modern city life all narrated by our expert guide
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific sits on top of extinct volcano also known as Punchbowl. The cemetery is the final resting place for thousands of U.S. military members. The beautifully maintained grounds feature rows of white headstones set against lush greenery. The location of Punchbowl Crater offers stunning views of the surrounding city, including downtown Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the coastline
The only royal palace in the United States. You will learn about Hawaii's monarchy, and hear stories about King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarchs.
From the palace you will view the iconic King Kamehameha Statue, a symbol of Hawaii's unity and strength. The statue is in front of the Aliʻiōlani Hale, the historic building that now houses the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Our guide will "talk story" of the fascinating history as the original government building of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Often referred to as the "Westminster Abbey of the Pacific," Kawaiahaʻo Church is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Hawaii. Our guide will teach you about the church’s significance and its role in Hawaii’s religious history.

Our excursion got cancelled by the tour company saying due to navy shut port after hurricane. Other excursions with other companies we called said that was not so. So we chose another company to go with. Thanks to visitor for giving us a full refund. I would check your companies you book thru alittle better.
We were happy to go on this tour. Originally it was scheduled a day earlier but with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala our cruise ship could not dock until the next day. The tour company worked with our schedule in order to give us a chance to see Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. We were able to change our meetup location making for a less stressful day of travel, which we appreciated very much. Will was personable, entertaining and engaging with his storytelling history lessons. He really wanted us to have the best possible experience with the short time we had in Honolulu. He succeeded, thank you Will.

Will made the tour fun and interesting with details about what happened before the Pearl Harbor attack started, details about the Punchbowl and about the King’s palace and state buildings.

After a fiasco with Hawaii tours (Now known as Go Hawaii Tours) my wife and I booked the Pearl Harbor tour through Aloha Sunshine. The owner personally reached out to ensure we had everything we needed and more. The tour itself was amazing yet also sombering. Our tour guide Brother Miah (due to both he and I being former soldiers he is forever my brother not cousin) was amazing and hilarious at the same time. He did make sure to remind everyone the importance of Pearl Harbor and that it was a place of great loss of life and to remember why we were there. The Arizona Memorial is a sombering reminder of that day. The Missouri is a great reminder of the victory over the Japanese in WWII. It is also a sight to see her guarding her fallen sister the Arizona. The tour of downtown historic Honolulu was good, minus the terrible traffic but as brother Micah said, it is the 8th worst traffic spot in the nation. Brother Micah (I’m sure I spelt his name wrong so forgive me on that) is extremely knowledgeable in Hawaiian culture and history. I would highly recommend Micah for all tours!. The day was amazing as a whole. 5 stars isn’t enough, highly recommended! CHEEEHOOO!!! 🤙
Mahalo for such an incredible review! 🤙 We’re so glad to hear that you and your wife had a meaningful and memorable experience with us. Pearl Harbor truly is a powerful and humbling place, and we’re happy that Brother Miah was able to balance both the history and heart of the tour while keeping it engaging and respectful. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to him—he’ll really appreciate it! It means a lot to us that you felt taken care of from start to finish. Thank you again for choosing Aloha Sunshine Tours and for your high recommendation. CHEEEHOOO! 🌺
