Arenal Full Day Tour

If I could recommend only one thing in La Fortuna, it would be to book with Daniel. I normally plan every detail of our family vacations because I love researching and building itineraries. This was the first trip where I handed over the planning, and I’m so glad I did. When our flight was delayed, Daniel immediately adjusted our itinerary so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He handled every reservation and all the logistics, which let me actually enjoy the vacation. He also took the time to get to know our family and customized our tours around our boys’ interests. His knowledge of the rainforest and wildlife made our Mistico Hanging Bridges tour incredible—we saw animals we never would have spotted on our own. The biggest difference, though, was the personal touches. Visiting his family’s property to try fresh cacao and honey, followed by lunch at their family restaurant, gave us an authentic experience we wouldn’t have found on our own. I also felt like we received VIP treatment everywhere we went because of the relationships he has with the local tour operators. Simply put, Daniel made our trip better, and I can’t recommend Pavito Tours enough.

Our family of 5 had an amazing day with Danny. We saw such incredible wildlife and learned so much about the rainforest. Danny was attentive to our kids and connected with them right away. The pace of each activity was perfect and the lunch break was incredible- the food was so delicious! I could not recommend this experience enough to anyone looking to get a closer look at Costa Rica. Pura Vida.

We had a full day tour with Daniel who took us to hanging bridges, rainforest, and waterfall. On the way there knowing how much we wanted to see sloths and monkeys he stopped in some spots to where they were hanging out. For lunch we got to eat at his family Restarant which had the best food and views. Overall it was a perfect day!

We had a fantastic day with Las Pavitas Tours and our guide, Gustavo (“Tavo”). We booked the combo tour with La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Volcano hike, and Mistico Hanging Bridges, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. Tavo was excellent—very knowledgeable, friendly, and great with our family. He really went above and beyond to make sure our daughters had a memorable experience. Even though it wasn’t part of the tour, he took extra time to help us find sloths, which ended up being a highlight of the day. All three stops were beautiful and worth it, but having a guide like Tavo made the experience even better. Would highly recommend this tour and definitely ask for Tavo if you can!

This was fabulous! We saw a ton of wildlife and had an excellent lunch at Jalapa. Gustavo was an awesome guide. This private tour is worth every penny.

Our tour with Daniel was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica! He took me and my husband on a tour of the Mistico hanging bridges and the La Fortuna waterfall. He also took us to lunch at his family's restaurant, Las Jalapas, which had an amazing view and we saw a sloth right near our table! We learned a lot from Daniel, he pointed out a lot of wildlife that we never would have seen on our own. We truly enjoyed spending time with him and learning about the area. He also had a scope to help us get great photos of the wildlife that we saw.

This day trip was our most fabulous experience in La Fortuna. Daniel our tour guide was really great from beginning to the end. He picked us up on time from our hotel. Showed us Sloths, Toucans, interesting birds and snakes on the way to the waterfalls, hanging bridges and the Volcano. He is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Also, he took us for lunch to his family owned restaurant that had absolutely amazing views and the food was very authentic and delicious. Daniel made our day and we will have happy memories of La Fortuna. Thank you Daniel and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who will like to make most out of their trip.

We booked the mistico hanging tour and arenal volcano with Daniel. He was excellent at communicating and organising. Gustavo was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and kind. It was very nice to have someone show us these attractions and ending the tour at Jalapas was such a wonderful experience.

Danny truly was the highlight of our experience. Such an amazing person, guide, educator, and now; friend!! I cannot imagine all the fun I would’ve missed out on by not hiring Danny to be apart of our trip!!! 1000/10 recommend!!!

You will not find a better tour guide in La Fortuna!! Danny was so friendly, personable, knowledgeable and FUN. He showed us so many animals that we would have never seen on our own, took us to the best local spots that we would have never found and made sure we had the best time throughout it all. After this tour Danny was so much more than our guide! He definitely became a friend that I will be sure to recommend to anyone visiting La Fortuna! This day was the highlight of our trip.
