I did not end up taking this tour as I booked it on 7/18 and on my way to Paris on 8/5 I noticed I was charged again and had two bookings. I canceled the new one and checked to be sure there were two different order numbers so I wasn’t canceling my original. When it came time on 8/8 to use this booking Viator had canceled both bookings but my original charge was still on my card. I was quite upset as I had a friend counting on me and I had to book through the tour company the day off which ended up costing me a bit more.
Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the confusion with your bookings through Viator and the frustration this caused during your trip to Paris. We're glad you were still able to join us by booking on the day, but we regret the added stress it caused. We appreciate your feedback and hope you were still able to enjoy your time exploring Paris with us! Melisa@BigBusTours
Convenient way to see the landmarks of Paris. There were so many more Big Buses than the other providers, which meant shorter wait times and maximum value for money. The drivers always made sure there was plenty of time to take photos from the bus
Felt the price was very high relative to what you get. We did a different company hop-on hop-off tour in London, and the commentary was significantly better (better timed to what you are actually seeing, more commentary overall). Also, the route did not cover as much, but the price for this one was very high. We did the combo bus + Arc de Triomphe ticket because of the flexible entry time. The price is higher than what you would pay at the Arc, but that is expected given the time flexibility. There were several stretches when we got on where the bus was completely full so we had to stand. We didn't mind standing, but then you can't plug in to hear the tour commentary. Overall, overpriced relatively to what you get.

Please contact us via email or chat and provide a brief description of the issues you encountered, and our team will be happy to assist you. Andreea@BigBusTours
A perfect and affordable way to see all the major sights around Paris. Booking was really easy, and once you download the app, it's simple to see the stops and hop on and off whenever you want. We never had to wait long for the next bus as there seemed to be plenty running throughout the day. It made getting around Paris really easy while still getting to see all the main attractions along the way. Very reasonably priced for what you get and a great way to explore the city, especially if it's your first time in Paris. Would definitely recommend.
After a start to the day that seemed very promising, around **5:30 PM** we discovered that we could no longer continue using the tourist bus service, even though the validity counter on our ticket continued to count down time uninterruptedly. It was then that we verified that the service **is not actually valid for a continuous 24-hour period**, but rather only functions within a daily schedule between **9:30 AM and 5:30 PM**. Once the service ends for the day, the remaining time cannot be used nor can the counter be stopped. The next opportunity to use the service again does not arrive until the morning of the following day, while the application continues to deduct time from our ticket and the buses continue to circulate normally through the streets of Paris. We asked several drivers to clarify the situation and they all simply replied to us that "it was for the next day." Meanwhile, the timer continued to run without us being able to use a service that is advertised as **24 hours of unlimited use to hop on and off the buses**. As a direct consequence of this situation, **the seven members of our family, including two minors, were forced to use the Paris metro to be able to return to the hotel**, assuming an additional financial loss and significant inconvenience. This whole experience has left us with a deep feeling of disappointment and of having been misled. Seeing how the buses continued to provide service while our ticket time expired, with no possibility of stopping the timer or using the service through the application, conveys a clear feeling of non-transparent and deceptive business practice. We consider that the service received does not correspond to what was advertised and, therefore, we would appreciate a satisfactory explanation, as well as adequate compensation for the time we could not enjoy, even though it continued to be deducted from the validity of our ticket.
Fantastic way to discover Paris without endless walking. Friendly people. Price is quite high but then you have something. Better not do it on a hot day because then you'll be full of sun. My 10-year-old daughter loved being on top. Tip: bring a bottle of water and sunscreen.
The bus driver tried to run me over and was a total danger on the road with no regard for traffic laws. A real threat to those around. This company absolutely does not care about people's safety and is just there to make money, even if it puts others' lives at risk. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We always appreciate the Hop-on-Hop-Off Buses and tend to use this mode of tour in every city we visit. You get a brief history and the lay of the land, covering more territory than you could on foot. Having the ability to get on and off is a plus. Would highly recommend.
Unfortunately I participated in this tour. Started at the opera. The ticket should have cost the sellers 49,- T€uro, on which came 20% discount. 100% electric was advertised, but the 1. Buss was 100% diesel so a lie! The reasons for the poor rating are: there are only 10 stops, but several places on the bus are additionally recommended to look, stops are announced very badly. I wanted to get off at stop 6, but when I announced that stop 6 was the bus just left, and I couldn't get off until stop 7. The rest I had to walk back. Partly white, the bus often runs routes Double, but it does not reach other sights. The announcement on the bus is random, I walked from stop 9 back to 8, but on the bus a different story was told on this route and other things like, The beach volleyball and blind football was played at stop 9 at Olympics 2024 was missing in the 2nd. Buss complete. Conclusion: Price/performance expensive, poorly implemented, lied at 100% electric, different announcements in the buses. too few stops and the bus should also wait there and not leave prematurely, bad route!
Dear customer, we apologize for the experience you had on our tour. We will address the issues mentioned and make necessary improvements for future tours. Currently we have 85% of our route 100% electric and we proud have been the first one having a fully electric double decker bus. We announce "en route to a 100%" Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we hope to have the opportunity to make it up to you in the future.
I would not recommend BigBus tour. It is expensive and it was always full on the top deck. Inside below you don't see much. Because people want a seat upstairs the sphere with other passengers also becomes tense. All Tootbus busses we saw had plenty of space upstairs so BigBus just sells more than they can handle...
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced on our tour. We value your feedback and are constantly working to improve our service. We hope to have the opportunity to make it up to you in the future.
