We booked the guided wine tour and wine tasting through Viator. The description stated the following: “Guided tasting of 3 wines with a selection of taralli, olives, cheeses and local cured meats”. We were not served any cheeses or local cold cuts. It also stated that we would be given a guided tour of the local vineyards with a detailed explanation of grape varieties. We did not see any vineyards, but only the vats in which the wine was stored during the production process. We paid €40 per person for this, whilst the price at the winery is around €20 for exactly the same thing. The wines were nice, but the rest was a huge let-down. Especially for €40 instead of €20. I wouldn’t book this experience again through Viator myself, nor would I recommend it.
