Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake

I absolutely loved my trip with Discovery World Trekking. They were safety first and kept us up to date with weather and travel developments leading up to the trip. A real highlight was team we trekked with - guide Siddhanta, assistant guide Narayan, and young porters Sandeep, Rajkumar and Bishal. They shared their Gurung culture, including different dances and music to get warmed up before each days’ walk. Would recommend to anyone.

My group embarked on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Discovery World Trekking. Paul the owner was extremely helpful leading up to the trip and very communicative helping us with every question we had. We were met at the airport by our tour guide Siddhanta. Our team was fantastic Siddhanta, Narayan, Sandeep, Rajkumar and Bishal were all very helpful throughout the trip. They were a steady shoulder to lean on throughout the trip and we had so much fun together. They really made us feel like a family and we have never felt so immersed in a culture like this. If you’re traveling to Nepal and trekking in the Annapurna region, I cannot recommend Discovery World Trekking enough. The porter and and guides are largely from this region and we were welcomed at tea lodges like we were family. ​I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Discovery World Trekking, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. As someone doing their first multi-day hike in an unfamiliar country, you can only hope to receive the level of care, generosity, and kindness that the Discovery team provided. ​Our guides (Siddhanta and Narayan) and porters (Sandeep, Rajkumar, and Bishal) were exceptional. They were not only extremely professional and attentive to safety, but also so much fun - we laughed, danced, and shared so many great moments along the trail. ​The team went above and beyond anything I could have expected or hoped for. We travelled with Discovery Trekking for ABC as a group of 6. In particular our guides Siddhantha and Narayan and our porters Sandeep, Rajkumar and Bishal. They were an absolute pleasure. Not only did they guide us with professionalism, but they also did the little extras which made all the difference. Memorable parts outside of the trekking included involving us in Nepalese dancing, spending time and talking during our break times and making sure that we were satisfied with the facilities provided to us. I couldnt recommend Discovery Trekking and the team assigned to us enough!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Nepal Trekking Experience My Nepal trekking experience was truly unforgettable, and a big part of that was because of my wonderful guide. From the very beginning until the end of the trek, my guide was professional, responsible and always attentive to my needs. What impressed me most was how well he arranged my accommodation at every stop along the journey. After a long and tiring day of trekking, having a clean, comfortable and suitable place to rest made such a big difference. At every station, my guide had already arranged my accommodation carefully, so i never had to worry about where i would stay or whether there would be a room available. It gave me great peace of mind, especially when the weather and trail conditions were unpredictable. He also understood that trekking is not only about reaching the destination. Rest, food, safety and having a good night’s sleep are equally important. He always checked on me，made sure i were comfortable and helped whenever i needed anything. During the trek, i experienced changing weather, difficult trails and some unexpected situations. Despite the challenges, my guide remained calm and supportive, and always tried his best to make sure i were safe. I especially appreciated his attention to the small details. Every day, I could simply focus on walking and enjoying the beautiful mountains, knowing that the arrangements had already been taken care of. For me, a great trekking guide is not just someone who knows the route. A great guide is someone who takes responsibility for the people walking with him — and my guide definitely did that. Thank you for making this journey such a memorable and comfortable experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. It was wonderful! We decided to give the Annapurna Circuit a try, knowing beforehand that the entire trek might not be accessible due to the unpredictable conditions. After seeing the destroyed infrastructure in Chame, we decided to turn back and switch to the Mardi Himal Trek — which turned out to be such an amazing experience! We felt really safe throughout the unpredictable conditions on the Annapurna Circuit, and the organisation of the spontaneous change of plans, as well as the care and support throughout the whole trip, were amazing. A huge thank you to our guide Kaji and our porter Sitaram for making this such a memorable experience 🙏🏼

Wow! What an adventure this trip was. Our guide Durga was full of positivity even when the weather wasn’t on our side. Without our porter Nimraj, scaling around landslides keeping our gear nice and dry we wouldn’t have made it. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience!

We had the pleasure of being guided by Prem, with Dur and Dipesh as our porters. All three were excellent in all aspects, and made the experience very enjoyable. Due to landslides our plans were affected but Prem was extremely accomodating in providing information on the current situation on the mountain and giving alternative options for us to choose from. Even with our indecisiveness he always managed to accommodate us, weather permitting. Dur and Dipesh were also a joy to spend time with and looked after us well. Overall, we were very happy with our trek despite the complications thanks to Prem, Dur and Dipesh. Number #1 team!
