Annapurna Circuit Trek

I had an absolutely extraordinary experience with Adventure Bound Nepal. I am a female solo traveler from Germany, traveling through Nepal in September, and from the very beginning I felt that I was in very good hands. Everything was exceptionally well organized, flexible and reliable, which made a huge difference when traveling alone. Originally, I had planned to do the Manaslu Circuit. Unfortunately, due to the trek being closed at short notice, I had to change my plans. Adventure Bound Nepal was extremely flexible and helped me switch to the Annapurna Circuit instead. Despite the last-minute change and the challenges of traveling in September, everything was reorganized smoothly and I never felt like I had to worry about the logistics. The organization throughout my entire trip was excellent. I was personally picked up at the airport, which was a great start to the trip. Adventure Bound Nepal also arranged my transportation, hotels and transfers for my other travels, including the journey to Pokhara, my trip to Chitwan National Park, and my return to Kathmandu. They also took care of my extra luggage while I was trekking and arranged for it to be transferred to my next destination afterwards. Having all of these details taken care of was especially valuable as a solo traveler. During the trek, I also had a porter, and everything worked perfectly. There were absolutely no issues at any point. The whole trekking team worked smoothly together, and I always felt that my belongings were in good hands. It was another part of the trip that I simply didn’t have to worry about. A huge part of what made the trek so special was my guide, Raman. He was extremely friendly, helpful and professional throughout the entire trek. Safety was clearly a priority for him at all times. He checked my equipment before we started and paid close attention to safety throughout the trek. I never felt that he was taking unnecessary risks or doing anything sketchy just to save time or make things easier. I also had a flexible schedule with some buffer days available, and Raman was fantastic at making use of that flexibility. He was happy to extend the trek and incorporate my own ideas, including my wish to visit Tilicho Lake. At the same time, he also made his own suggestions based on his experience. In particular, his recommendation to have some more relaxed days after crossing Thorong La was brilliant. It meant that the itinerary didn’t feel rushed, and we could enjoy the trek rather than simply trying to get from one destination to the next. I really appreciated that he found the right balance between my wishes and what he knew would make for a better trekking experience. Every evening, Raman gave me a clear briefing about the following day: how long we would be walking, what elevation we would reach, how much ascent and descent to expect, when and where we would have breakfast and lunch, and where we would finish for the day. This made it very easy to know what to expect and helped me feel prepared each morning. His knowledge of the Annapurna Circuit was outstanding. He knew the trails, the different routes, the villages, the accommodations and the practical details of the trek extremely well. I never felt that I had to question a decision or worry about whether we were on the right path or staying somewhere suitable. I could simply trust his experience. He also consistently looked after the small things that make a big difference on a long trek. He checked whether I had enough food and water, made sure I was doing okay, and paid attention to how I was feeling throughout the day. I always felt that he was genuinely looking out for me rather than simply doing his job. As a female solo traveler, I particularly appreciated the sense of safety and support throughout the trek. I never felt that I was left to figure things out on my own. At the same time, I still had the freedom to experience the trek as my own adventure. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of Adventure Bound Nepal’s organization and flexibility and Raman’s professionalism, knowledge and genuine care made the entire trip feel smooth and safe, even with the unexpected change of itinerary and the challenges of traveling in September. I would absolutely recommend Adventure Bound Nepal to anyone planning a trek in Nepal, and especially to solo travelers who want to have the freedom of traveling alone while still knowing that everything is taken care of.

I contacted Adventure Bound very spontaneously, as I had booked a flight within just a few days and decided to trek the Annapurna Circuit solo. Despite the short notice, everything was organized perfectly from start to finish — from the airport pickup to the accommodations throughout the trek. What touched me most was the dedication of my guide, Ganes. He was incredibly attentive, conscientious and always made sure I was feeling well and taken care of. With Himalayan Single Track my dream to reach Thorung La, 5416m, with the mountain bike came true! In 8 days cycling from Tal to Beni. Just amazing! The whole preparation and organization with Jenny, the owner of the company and a big bike shop in Kathmandu, was super professional and nice. So much information via email and at a welcome dinner in Kathmandu. Jenny chose only the best, stylish and well equipped accomodations for me, offering me delicious food and clean bottled water. My full suspension Giant Trance bike with new Maxxis tires was easily up to the task and daily serviced by my guide. It was transported on a pick up to the starting point in Tal.  The whole team, Jenny, Awatar, my porter Ulal and driver Robin, worked together smoothly. Awatar, my energetic, super professional, caring and funny guide was the best company I can imagine! He showed me the most exciting single trails, temples and beautiful places,  helped me with the bike and made a movie from the whole trip! Absolutely stunning landscape and single trails - up to snow covered mountains, down to the deepest gorge, the Kali Gandaki. More than 7000m elevation gain was a challenge! Amazing trip! Népal is absolutely avesom country. It was my first time here and hope not last! The circuit, the choice of the guest houses and the places to eat and to visit - all is really good. The team of the Adventure Bound is professional, kind , VERY VERY KIND and pay attention to every small detail. I was fillinfg all the time during this trip to be with the family that i never had and always dream. I recommande this agency for 💯 ! It's an adventurous trekking experience. Where climate is a challange in night temperature drop down to -20°c and everything get freeze even water in your normal bottle. I had start my trek from besisashar to bhulbule to nadi to bapudada to gheru to chamje next day from chamje to chame. 3rd day chame to manang then i had enjoy manang 2 night to acclimitation. In manang the Alpine home & hotel Mountain lake are best for stay. Hotel Mountain lake accept credit card payment. 6th day i had started trekking from manang to Yak kharka. I was alone walking on the trek few trekker i had met those are return back before Yak kharka wheather change and wind blow 10 kms/hr which made it difficult to walk. In night i had stay in himalaya view in Yak Kharka upper. 7 th day i had started my trek from yak kaarka upper for thorung Pedi. In thorung pedi i had stay in thorung pedi base camp lodge. It's a beautiful property with beautiful glass dinning area with a beautiful view of valley etc. 8 th day i had started my final trek to muktinath. There i had a unique experience i had cross thorang la pass and futher move toward muktinathbut i was late and nightfall round about 6 p.m i had reached vishnu chula just before the muktinath temple. It was difficult to find the way noone it there is help me. I had saw a hut but noone was there. I have on option i have to wait there so that the person living there will come and i ask for help. I was waiting there but with the time the temperature goes down. Unwilling i had open the gate of the hut and again start waiting. Finally baba ji came and i apolosise for opening his hut in their absence and asked him to help me. I had lost the direction. He's so kind he help me and give me tea and it was the best tea of my life. Baba ji gave me food and space to sleep. Baba ji save my life. In the morning he take me inside the temple and explain the importance of this palce where lord Vishnu came 25 thousand years ago for warshipping/ tap. Further baba ji show me the way to muktinath temple and i had reached muktinath temple and had darshan. In this way my trekking complete with a unique spritual expirence where once i had admitted that today i am going to die with the cold.

My experience with adventure bound is one I’ll never forget. Our guide Rabin was with us every step of the way, helping us with every decision and making the usually difficult organisation a walk in the park. He was friendly and approachable and always made sure we were satisfied with his service. Couldn’t recommend this company enough.

I went to Nepal as a solo traveller without any plans, booked Madhuban hotel there where I met with Laxman there and told him that I want to do a trekking there in the Annapurna region, Fortunately someone was willing to do the same trek around the same time so I decided to join the trekking with other person Joe. It was the best decision of my life to jump on that trekking. Laxman provided the best guide, he was very co operative, good in english and he knew the trails very well. I had the perfect time trekking in Nepal with adventure bound and it was very nice meeting Laxman on the first day since he is the one that made this all happen. I highly recommend Adventure bound since they are very down to earth, transparent and excellent. I've told them that I will return back next season with my family to do the Everest Base camp trek.

We had a fantastic trekking around the Annapurna Circuit arranged by Adventure Bound. Santosh was the best guide we could have wished for; he is very knowledgeable and attentive. He is easy to talk to and has ample experience, making sure you are truly taken care of. But most of all, we had a lot of fun along the way with Santosh and Amrit! We hope to see you again in the future. Special thanks to Laxman, who has assisted us with the planning of the trip and has welcomed us in Kathmandu upon arrival, giving us all information we needed to start our trekking well prepared.
