Annapurna Base Camp Trek 12 Days

We had an incredible time on our trek to ABC with our guide Resham and our porter Fal. They both looked after us, made sure we were safe, and had an incredible experience on our 8 day trek. Both Resham and Fal went above and beyond for us during the trek, always making sure we were well looked after. It was the first time we had done a long trekking experience and we're incredibly grateful that it was spent with this team! Every part of the trek was well organised which made for a really smooth experience.

We completed the Annapurna Base Camp with Poon Hill 10-day trek with Nepal Nirvana for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time! So much of that was down to our guide Bhairas and our porter Balkumar, who made us feel like family from day one. From the very beginning, the owner KP was a pleasure to deal with — communicative, accommodating, and genuinely flexible when we wanted to tweak our plans or explore other options like Chitwan. On the trail, we felt completely safe knowing we were in Bhairas’s hands. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the mountains and always knew the best teahouses and somehow managed to negotiate a private room at every single one. He checked in with us daily, adjusted our meals and pace as needed, and was endlessly reassuring. I started the trek with a cold and was anxious about altitude sickness, but he calmly talked through our options and suggested we sleep at MBC rather than ABC as a precaution. It was exactly the right call, and the fact that we could make that change so smoothly and still find a private room says a lot about his experience and resourcefulness. Beyond all the practicalities, we laughed constantly and spent hours playing cards with Bhairas and Balkumar in the evenings. They didn’t just guide us, they made the whole trip a lot of fun.

We have just completed our first trek with Nepal Nirvana and we can’t wait to book with them again for our next Nepal trip! Bhairas, our guide, and Balkumar, our porter, were such great fun. Their organisation and handling of the trek was perfect - they tailored the trek each day to how we were feeling, what we wanted to do, and what was best to do as a result of their experience. After our walking for the day we played cards with them for a few hours every day and we’ve been so grateful to get to know them. We had the best time on our ABC trek and can’t wait for the next adventure with Nepal Nirvana.

We did our 18 day Annapurna Circuit Trek and Annapurna Base Camp (including Poonhill) recently with Nepal Nirvana Trails. We are very happy and satisfactory with the price, services and outcomes. Our guide Chhiring has over 20 years’ trekking experience in Himalaya mountain ranges, and he can always give us the precise advice and information. He is also very caring and helpful. Our porter Cheddar is very polite and hardworking young fellow. Kul, the owner of Nepal Nirvana Trails, is a very friendly and approachable man, who responds promptly to all questions and requests, and makes sure every aspects of our journey is in safe hands. This family business gives us a warm, family like treatment, and we enjoyed dealing with the staff. Most important of all, they together helped and supported us to have completed the two challenging treks successfully.

We were very well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Our guide Bhairas Tamang constantly checked on us, adjusted each day’s pace according to our condition, and made sure we were comfortable, always asking if we were hungry or cold. He was also very professional, explaining the names of each mountain and the origins of the villages along the way. We even learned some basic Nepali phrases, which helped us communicate a little! Our porter Dev was the strongest person I’ve ever seen. When I was too exhausted to continue, he even slow down for me to check if I was fine. I’m truly grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness. One of our friends was hiking for the very first time, yet still successfully reached ABC. We highly recommend everyone to come and experience this!

Not a bad experience to start my nepal adventure

Came to Nepal keen to do a hike - had zero idea of where to hike , for how long and how to go about it. Found Nepal Nirvana trails and had a quick sit down with them in person ( super friendly) and booked and paid for a 5 days hike to ABC . I felt like a child being ushered around in a stroller again , because they just did everything so efficiently and we ended up with the coolest guide ever named Raj - what a legend !! And what an awesome company! And what an awesome trek it was !
