Not every traveler experiences the mountains in the same way, so we don’t follow one fixed hiking route for every departure. We keep groups small, allowing the guide to choose the most suitable route and adjust the pace according to the participants’ fitness, experience and the conditions on the day. You may explore high-altitude valleys and streams or, when the group and conditions allow, continue toward more demanding trails and higher viewpoints. This is a hiking experience for travelers who want to explore the Andes on foot, beyond the usual scenic stops. Transportation from Mendoza, a professional mountain guide, food and the necessary mountain logistics are organized as part of the day, so you can focus on the hike and the landscape.

Beautiful and memorable experience!
A wonderful day hike experience led by our guide Matias. He was an engaging and knowledgeable guide who took great care to make it memorable. The thoughtfully prepared lunch at the top was fantastic!

High trekking!
It was a beautiful experience. Vanina, the guide who took us, was very warm and careful of our well-being throughout the tour, especially during the ascent. It was certainly the gateway to continue with this type of activities.

Lovely hiking trip but expensive
Lovely hiking trip to a beautiful part of Argentina. Our guide made us a lovely lunch which we had at the top. However the trip to the mountain was over 2 hours and we would have liked if there was more conversation from our guide. It was an expensive trip and we don’t feel it was the best value.

We find it a little strange that you mention the 2-hour trip that is in the description of our service, since if one wants to go to the Andes, you must travel at least 90 km to it. On the other hand, you had a private tour, with a guide all day and transportation that covered more than 200 km and was with you for more than 8 hours. The value of the tour is in the costs that an activity like this requires. The strangest thing is that we look for your name both in the reservations and in the insurance to see which guide you got, and it doesn't appear. But well, sometimes it can happen that some people like the guide to speak more or less, we always try to have all the people who make Destino Montaña, are trained in security, are professional and cordial. Wonderful hike
The hike was perfect. Vanina was a delight of a guide. The drive from Mendoza was gorgeous. The hike was demanding but not difficult or technical. The high altitude (3000m +) meant we had to take it slow. We saw so many animals and the lunch was delicious.

We 100% recommend this tour! The hike was certainly challenging, but our guide Fernando was fantastic. His knowledge and energy/passion was incredible and the scenery was top class.

Extremely attentive team, quick responses and an incredible experience. Guide Pablo, was very professional and contributed to the trek being very successful, not to mention he was a great meteorologist and photographer 😃. I recommend it 100%!

Beautiful Trekking
A nice Trekking, beautiful landscape, with a patient and experienced guide, very friendly. We are not experienced, so Mauricio (our guide) stopped us to rest and asked us if we wanted to continue, return or which way to go. I brought fruit, cereal bars and a delicious picnic for the top. He took photos of us and was in a good mood for our talk. We highly recommend them
