Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnese to the mainland of Greece, roughly halfway between Athens and Sparta. The modern city of Corinth is located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of the ancient ruins. For Christians, Corinth is well known from the two letters of Saint Paul in the New Testament, First and Second Corinthians. Corinth is also mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles as part of Paul the Apostle's missionary travels. In addition, the second book of Pausanias' Description of Greece is devoted to Corinth. Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished Corinth in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece.

The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus is a theatre in the Greek city of Epidaurus, located on the southeast end of the sanctuary dedicated to the ancient Greek God of medicine, Asclepius. It is built on the west side of Cynortion Mountain, near modern Lygourio, and belongs to the Epidaurus Municipality. It is considered to be the most perfect ancient Greek theatre with regard to acoustics and aesthetics. The monument retains the characteristic tripartite structure of a Hellenistic theatre that has a theatron, orchestra, and skene. During Roman times, the theatre (unlike many Greek theatres) did not suffer any modifications. Continue to The Temple of Asclepius, which was a sanctuary in Epidaurus dedicated to Asclepius. It was the main holy site of Asclepius. The sanctuary at Epidaurus was the rival of such major cult sites as the Sanctuary of Zeus at Olympia and Apollo at Delphi. The temple was built in the early 4th century BC.

It was tremendous - from preparation, arrival on time, comfortable, safe, great locations, and we never felt rushed. Most of all, our driver, Georgios was truly amazing !!! He made the trip 5 stars plus .
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Always at your service.
We had an absolutely incredible day with our guide George seeing these sights. It was obvious that he loves his job and is fascinated by history and culture. He was also so kind and attentive to my 8 year old son. It thought it might be too many sites to see in a day with a kid, but we both stayed interested the whole time and ended the day tired but happy. We are very grateful! Highly recommend.

How can I forget about all the remarkable sites. The guide tailored the tour to our wishes and did not rush us at anytime on the multiple stops.

What a great experience! Ioannis (who speaks perfect English) picked us up at our hotel in Athens in a quiet Mercedes car (so much better than a tour bus!) The drive through the Greek countryside was relaxing and beautiful. Walking through Mycenae and Nafplion was informative, as both have a long, rich history. Lunch was yummy authentic Greek and very filling. The views from the Fortress of Palamidi were spectacular. We also stopped in Corinth to see the canal and the ancient city. I would definitely recommend this tour!

LOVED our driver - Yiannis! He made the trip fun and enjoyable. This was a substitute for a cruise to three islands that was canceled the day before so we were disappointed to start. The ruins were ruins, once you've seen one, they all start looking the same. Lots of walking and climbing. Not an easy tour if you have difficulty walking or mobility issues. Yiannis did a great job telling us about the countryside and it was beautiful. Recommend if you are just looking for something to do.
Dear Mrs. Angela, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We always take into account the traveler’s comments of the sites and places that were visited and always try to improve each experience. It was very bad that your cruise was canceled and as this was something that we learnt from your side, we tried to facilitate this trip to become even better. Our company and Mr Yannis never set a time limit of this tour and gave ample of time to every visit. The ruins of Mycenae are some of the most important ruins - civilization of the ancient times and people are coming from remote places to admire the cradle of western civilization. As described before, in order to facilitate your trip as we knew that this was a substitute of your canceled cruise, we even went further and offered an upgraded lunch with fresh seafood which was not included in the initial experience. We will study your review and try to improve in any way that we can in order to offer even better services. Thank you very much and we wish you all the best.
