Amsterdam private city walking experience with a local

Manouk is a lovely Amsterdam local; she is so knowledgeable and friendly. She will tailor the tour to your interests and pace. This tour was a highlight of our time in Amsterdam. Highly, highly recommend!!

Very educational and interesting tour through the city center of Amsterdam. The guide, Menoek, was extremely friendly and knew all kinds of fun facts; a real local!

Honestly one of the best tours we’ve done. It didn’t feel like a typical “tour” at all, more like walking through the city with someone who genuinely loves it and knows all the stories behind it. Our guide really took the time to tune into what we found interesting, which made it feel super personal. We ended up seeing places we would have completely missed on our own, and the history actually stuck because of the way it was told. It was relaxed, interesting, and just a really nice way to experience the city. Would 100% recommend this if you want something a bit more real and less touristy.

Knowledgeable, kind, fun and flexible. Kids loved her, and even confessed at first they thought they would get bored. Turned out to be lots of fun!

We had a wonderful time touring the city with Manouk! She is a lovely guide who gave us such a personalised and enriching experience. Highly recommend :)

The absolute sweetest guide I could ask for! Incredibly informative as well as curious to get to know who her tourers are that trip. I went alone but not once was it awkward or uncomfortable; I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. Thank you so, so much for making this trip so fun and interesting! I had so much fun walking back around the areas after the tour and feeling giddy with excitement to know exactly where I was and what the history was.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing tour. Our guide Manouk was by far the best tour guide we have ever experienced. This young lady was so friendly and extremely knowledgable in showing us plenty of hidden local treasures. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending Manouk to anyone wishing to do a more personal type tour.

Nice route and sympathetic guide who had answers to all my questions. Discusses both the history and current problems and future plans of the neighborhood. Good tips for food etc. received!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our city walking tour with Manouk. She was extremely professional but also fun to tour with and she had so many interesting and relevant facts to share. We found her very knowledgeable with regards to the history of Amsterdam and the route that we walked gave us a very broad insight into Amsterdam both past and present . Manouk was also happy to adapt the walk to our interests, which were history and architecture. She was very well prepared for the tour and produced maps and pictures that complimented her commentary. She also provided us with little local edible treats which was a really nice touch. I would absolutely recommend Manouk to anyone wishing to experience Amsterdam with a local.

I highly recommend Manouk for touring Amsterdam. She is a true local with a wealth of knowledge. Her tour was fun and informative. She presents topics in a detailed and organized fashion putting history in context with the current environment. Quite interesting and entertaining.
