One of our group was handicapped and the captain and guide were exceptional. The trip was very nice but we could not hear the guide when he was at the front of the boat so missed about half. The captain did his best to fill in.
ordered river cruise and could not get the tickets every time I tried it said oops error can not get so we never did the cruise had no way to contact I do not recommend using VIATOR . I pay for a cruise that I could never get tickets for.
The meeting time needs to be communicated that it’s can be flexible. We waited over 45 minutes - ticket information said to be at the meeting spot 10 min early, boat arrived more than 30 min later than meeting time. Besides the confusion we enjoyed the cruise and the tour guide did a fantastic job.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and delay at the meeting point, and we appreciate you pointing out that the communication around departure times could have been clearer. We understand how frustrating waiting can be, especially at the start of an Amsterdam canal cruise experience. That said, we’re very happy to hear you still enjoyed the canal cruise through Amsterdam and that our tour guide made such a positive impression. Your kind words mean a lot to the Boat Amsterdam team, and we truly appreciate your understanding. We hope to welcome you back on board again for an even smoother experience next time.
Such an awesome experience! Great way to see Amsterdam without the crowds. All 5 of us got the open bar option and thought it was WELL worth it. Our drinks stayed topped the whole whole time:)
Thank you for your amazing review, Holly! We’re so happy to hear you and your group had such an awesome time on your Amsterdam canal cruise with Boat Amsterdam. Cruising through the Amsterdam canals is a fantastic way to experience the city away from the busy crowds, and we’re delighted you enjoyed the fun atmosphere on board. It’s great to know the open bar option was such a hit and that the drinks kept flowing throughout the canal cruise through Amsterdam! Thank you again for your recommendation and kind words — we hope to welcome all five of you back again soon for another unforgettable boat tour in Amsterdam!
Great hosts drinks flowed really good guides got the group comfortable and told some really fun stories.Would definitely recommend .We had open boat on a sunny day.Perfect excursion fir our family
For our company outing they had organized a top boat trip! The communication with Luuk beforehand was super nice: clear, fast and personal. He even called a day in advance to go over everything and half an hour before departure to wish us lots of fun. That kind of attention really makes all the difference. The boat itself was clean and tidy, the drink was nice and cold, warm bitter garnish on the way, there was good music and the staff on board were friendly and helpful. Everything was arranged to perfection. In short: a super experience and in my opinion highly recommended for other companies looking for a relaxing, well-organized boat trip!
My daughters that Vaulter, the guide, was so cute they never want to wash their hands. He was great guide with some funny jokes to add to the history of Amsterdam
Views were amazing! Olaf and our skipper were phenomenal guides! Recommending this to everyone who visits Amsterdam!
Michel and Alex were wonderful, informative and humorous tour guides. The tour exceeded all of our expectations,. highly recommend Boat Amsterdam.
