King Abdullah Mosque
Admission not included60 min
The blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque, built in the 1980s by the late King Hussein as a memorial to his grandfather, is open to Non-Muslim visitors.
The nave with an area of 1,615 m2 has the capacity to house 3,000 worshippers. It is octogonal and distiguished for not having pillars inside. Its dome of 35 m in diameter has a height of 31 meters. A source of radiation was placed in the middle taking the form of a golden star culminating in the Ninety Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah surrounding the dome's neck. The suspended chandelier of 168 lanterns consists of three circles with the Holy Quranic Verse with the word Allah recurring on every lantern.
The fertile land is expressed in the form of a red carpet made of an ornamental textile of recurring patterns meant to direct worshippers toward the Kiblah. All the walls, including the Kiblah, the pulpit, and the Mihrab are panelled with wooden and marble oriels.
The Citadel
Admission not included60 min
Jabal al-Qala is one of the seven mountains of Amman, which the Ammonians have long taken as the seat of their rule in the city, followed by Greece, romans and Byzantines who occupied the city respectively until it was occupied by the Islamic conquest in the 7th century AD, where the Umayyad Palace was built on its top. Mount Qalaa in Amman emerged as the capital of the Ammonians.
Roman Theatre
Admission not included30 min
The Roman Amphitheatre is a Roman theater located in the eastern part of the Jordanian capital Amman, precisely at the foot of Mount Jufa on one of the hills opposite Amman Castle. What a simply magical and unforgettable day
Our day trip to Amman and the Dead Sea was a wonderful experience, full of special moments, incredible landscapes, and memories we will keep forever.
We started by exploring Amman, a fascinating city where ancient history and modern life meet in a unique way. Every place we visited had its own story, and it was wonderful to be able to learn a little more about the culture, history, and beauty of this city.
Then we went to the Dead Sea, and what a perfect way to end the day! The landscape is simply extraordinary and the experience of floating in the salty waters of the Dead Sea is something everyone should experience at least once in their life. It was relaxing, fun, and absolutely unforgettable.
But a very important part to make this day so special was our driver, Faris.
Faris was simply fantastic! From the first moment he was very nice, professional, polite, and attentive. Always concerned with ensuring we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. The trip with him was smooth and pleasant, and his kindness made us feel very welcome in Jordan.
More than a driver, Faris became an important part of our experience. With your help, we were able to enjoy the day without worries, simply relax, admire the landscapes, and discover these incredible places.
What we will remember most is not just the photographs, but the feeling of being there—discovering Amman, contemplating the landscapes of Jordan, reaching the Dead Sea, and ending the day with that wonderful feeling of having experienced something truly special.
It was only one day, but it felt like a small trip around the whole world.
Mom gave us a story.
The Dead Sea gave us magic.
And Faris made our trip even more special.
Thank you very much, Faris, for all your kindness, professionalism, and for making our day so perfect and unforgettable.
If someone is thinking of visiting Jordan, we recommend this heartfelt experience. One day, two incredible places and memories for a lifetime.
Until the next adventure

Exceptional One-Day Experience in Amman & the Dead Sea
We had an absolutely wonderful one-day trip exploring Amman and the Dead Sea with our driver, Khalil. From the very beginning, everything felt effortless, comfortable, and exceptionally well organized.
Khalil was professional, punctual, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the journey enjoyable with his insights about Jordan, while also giving us the freedom to explore at our own pace. His driving was smooth and safe, and he was always attentive to what we needed throughout the day.
Amman was fascinating to explore, but the highlight was definitely the Dead Sea. The scenery was breathtaking, and having Khalil with us made the entire experience relaxed and stress-free. He was also happy to help with photos and make sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the experience rather than feeling rushed.
What really stood out was the personal level of service. Khalil was more than just a driver — he was a thoughtful host who genuinely cared about making our day special.
If you're visiting Jordan and want a private, comfortable, and high-quality experience, I would highly recommend asking for Khalil. He made our one-day Amman and Dead Sea trip truly memorable.
5 stars without hesitation. Thank you, Khalil, for an unforgettable day in Jordan!

If you only have one day in Jordan, this is exactly how to spend it!
Some days are simply too good to be called “just a day.”
Our experience exploring Amman and the Dead Sea was one of those days that leaves you with beautiful memories long after the journey ends. From the energy and history of Jordan’s capital to the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the Dead Sea, every part of the experience had something special to offer.
Amman was fascinating from the very beginning — a city where ancient history and everyday life come together in such a unique way. Exploring its highlights, taking in the views, and experiencing the atmosphere gave us a wonderful introduction to Jordan.
The journey toward the Dead Sea was just as memorable, with spectacular scenery along the way. Arriving at the Dead Sea and seeing the incredible landscape in person was the perfect change of pace after exploring the city.
And a big reason the day was so enjoyable was our driver, Issa. He was incredibly friendly, professional, patient, and reliable. From the first moment until the end of the journey, he made sure everything was comfortable and stress-free. His positive attitude and helpfulness made us feel genuinely well looked after.
Issa was not simply our driver; he became an important part of the experience. He was always ready to help, happy to share local knowledge, and made sure we could enjoy the day at a comfortable pace.
What could have been a simple sightseeing trip turned into a truly memorable Jordanian experience. We saw beautiful places, enjoyed incredible views, learned more about the country, and made memories we will be talking about for a long time.
Thank you, Issa, for turning a day of sightseeing into a day we will always remember.
Beautiful destinations, wonderful hospitality, and an exceptional driver — highly recommended!

Great Amman City tour
We really enjoyed our Amman city tour. We had a great guide at the citadel, Aladdin. He was very knowledgeable and complete in his explanations. Additionally, we had a really great driver named, Nabil. Nabil is super friendly and accommodating. We had him for 3 days straight. He was fun to talk to and he made the time fly in the long car ride.
Overall, we had a great experience in Amman and in all of Jordan!

Dead Sea, The Citadel and Roman Theatre
Mohammad The GPS moved me around the areas without using GPS. We took some small streets to get me back to the blue tiled mosque when I left my phone there. He was very good at explaining the culture and histories of several different people. He was engaging and very entertaining while we drove to the different areas. We stopped by the factory down the street from the Dead Sea where I purchased to much facial/body products. At each stop, Mohammad gave me clear instructions on where to go and where to come back to him. I came alone to Amman for tours, with Mohammad it was a pleasure to not be with other people. As a senior citizen the privacy was priceless to me.
