Amazing displays, vast museum. Probably need a day if you wish to see everything. The Go City also gives you ticket access to a timed event/ exhibition. We chose the butterfly house. Worth the money for the wildlife exhibition alone. No queues swift security checks. Well worth the visit.
Don't book with Viator. It's a suggested donation for admission so there's no need to book ahead. You still have to go through the lines so you might as well just get there early and by.
Amazing Museum. We spent at least 5 hours viewing displays. The Dinosaur exhibit was very impressive. I saw dinosaurs I hadn't seen pictures or displays of before. It's unbelievable to stand beneath or beside such huge creatures. We spent most of our time among the dinosaurs. "Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals, featuring over 5,000 specimens from around the world, including both gems and minerals." was awesome. I've never seen anything comparable to it. We also visited the Butterfly Vivarium which was excellent. If we'd had the time, we could have spent another entire day at this museum.
Disappointing. Just not a lot to see and signage was lacking and there wasn’t anything that felt special. Much prefer history museums in D.C. and Chicago.
Was a great experience I would definitely bring my family next time for the same experience. First time to New York in general too was awesome 👏
Alot to take in, so much to see and do. We had a awesome time, learned so much. Very nice museum. Highly recommended!
The Museum is massive big with lot to see and most impresive are the dinosarous skelotones and animal encloures. its must go visit while in NYC. can stay and see what most interst you or catches your eyes, one of the largest in the world. Was a nice experience.
So amazing! I could spend days exploring this museum, loved the extra ticketed experiences as well, worth the extra money!
Incredible!!!! The displays of animals and birds are absolutely outstanding, I’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else in the world. A real treat and worth every cent. We allowed two hours and it wasn’t nearly enough
Dinosaurs experience doesn't worth the time. You should be prepared to walk. Plan your time there...
