Alternative Prague Walking Tour

Description
This tour takes you beyond Prague’s tourist center, often called “Disneyland” by locals, and into the vibrant, creative neighborhood of Holešovice, which was voted one of the top 10 coolest districts in Europe by The Guardian. Led by a local guide, you’ll explore hidden courtyards, street art murals, and repurposed industrial spaces, including former factories turned cultural hubs. Along the way, you’ll hear personal stories and discover Prague’s underground art scene, learning about the city’s history, activism, and contemporary life. The tour concludes at the legendary Cross Club, a unique techno and community space built entirely from recycled industrial parts. This isn’t sightseeing, it’s experiencing Prague through the eyes of a local.

A nice, somewhat different insight into the history and culture of the city of Prague. Super tour guide who also chatted with us over beer and bowls for two hours after the tour.
Great experience. Tomas was very knowledgeable and is clearly dedicated to Prague and its people, especially the arts community. The tour takes you well off the beaten path, into neighborhoods where locals live and work. Highly recommend for those who dislike the tourist traps (like the Old Town area.
With an energetic and dedicated tour guide, we learned a lot about Prague and the alternative scene. Definitely recommended.
Excellent way to get away from heavily touristed places + get a broader intro to Prague. Thomas was very knowledgeable and friendly—helped us get around and gave great suggestions for places to go —with a DIY art focus—that not every tourist might know about. Highly recommend.
Amazing tour with great insights into the art scene and alternative places. Sandra did a great job explaining the spots and arts as well as telling interesting stories! Would 100% recommend :)

Sincerely enjoyed the tour and the enthusiasm of our guide Sandra. Nice to go outside the traditional Prague.
It’s a beautiful city and so much to discover, I personally would like to spend more time to visit this place
Sondra was a great guide as an artist and film-maker. Very informative regarding the arts scene and gentrification in Prague.
Really interesting tour outside the main tourist area of Prague. Great knowledge by the guide on life in Prague currently when compared to recent history. Also, really interesting commentary on street art and culture generally. We were taken places we never would have found on our own.
