If you are an animal lover you want to meet & learn about these fascinating alpacas. It was evident these animals were loved & well cared for. Our small group was all adults so it’s not just for kids!

What sets our tour apart is the rare opportunity to step into a real, working alpaca and llama farm — not just observe from a distance. Located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, our one-hour+, hands-on experience invites guests of all ages to connect with animals in a meaningful, memorable way. Unlike standard petting zoos or walk-through tours, you’ll feed treats, learn how to halter and handle alpacas, give them baths on warm days, and — depending on the season — meet baby alpacas (called crias) and their moms. You may even witness a live birth or breeding session, as this is a full-time textile farm where life unfolds in real time. Perfect for animal lovers, families, and adventure seekers alike, our group format ensures a personal, immersive experience that’s both educational and unforgettable.
Along with alpacas and llamas, you will meet our three Turkish Anatolian Guard Dogs, Chili, Hazel, and Finn, they are litter-mates and best friends! Our chickens and horses (seasonal) love welcoming our visitors and will always take some extra treats too! We have ground squirrels, deer, bald eagles, and of course our cat, Jill, will occasionally make a special appearance. Take lots of photos during your time on the farm and with your favorite alpaca (don't forget to tag us on social media). At the end of your tour, you'll get to pick out a keychain or sticker souvenir to remember your visit with us! Please wear closed toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and make sure to put on sunscreen as we will be outdoors for the entirety of the tour. Additionally, bring water and note there is not a public restroom on site. Please remember this is a full-time working farm, so you may see alpacas breeding, live births, etc. and always watch your step!

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller A Note to Parents: We love welcoming children to the ranch and believe farm visits can be a magical, educational experience for all ages. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests, animals, and team, we kindly ask that children are supervised at all times. For families with young kids, we recommend a ratio of at least one adult per two children to help guide safe, respectful interactions with the animals and the environment. We recommend using all-terrain options if available and are happy to accommodate as best we can — just let us know in advance. What a great experience. The tour was fun and educational. The setting us beautiful. The alpacas and lamas are gentle and sweet.
We did the alpaca and llama tour and had an amazing time! Our tour guide was one of the owners and she was very knowledgeable. The alpacas were so cute !
Jenna was a fabulous tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and really allowed us to get close to the llamas and alpacas. I loved being able to lead Diamond around and feed some of the alpacas at the end of the tour. Gift shop was great too!!! Highly recommend if you’re planning a trip to Montana. ❤️
Very enjoyable and informative experience
Best tour in Bozeman! Worthy of 10 stars! The up close and personal experience with the alpacas was beyond special. You can't help but be happy & smiling in their presence. My husband and I both agree this tour is well worth your time. We still fondly talk about Felix & Hamlet, our assigned alpacas to walk with, but all of them were just the best. I think our tour guide's name was Kaylee. While fairly new on the farm, she provided a lot of information and education about alpacas, separation of male/female, gestation including the opportunity to hold a 7-week old one named Cinnamon. You get to feed them and take one for a walk, with lots of opportunities for coveted pictures. There's also an 11-year old Turkish Anatolian guard dog, Hazel, who woke up from her nap for petting. We purchased a few items in the store. Every time I put on my alpaca wool socks, I feel the cozy hugs from this day. Go, go, go take this tour! No matter your age, you must do this. And don't worry about being on a farm. Just dress appropriately and go all in for the best experience in Bozeman!
