If your riad is inside the medina, you will be asked to make your way to the nearest place accessible to vehicles, which may involve a short walk. It was an absolutely incredible experience. Wonderful landscapes, pleasant trip and company. A special mention goes to the lunch and the family that hosted us: absolutely the best traditional meal we had in Morocco. Finally, a thank you goes to Abdul; not just a simple driver but a guide of great culture and preparation and immense kindness. He made the entire day not at all boring.
Our guide Abdel was fantastic! His knowledge and expertise added greatly to our overall experience of Morocco and this is our third visit! The highlight for us was lunch at a local Berber home (see pics). We highly recommend this small group tour vs. the larger non-personal bus trips
Very beautiful day in the High Atlas. Our guide Abdel spoke French very well and taught us many things. Excellent meal.
Great scenery across the whole tour with well time stops all the way with time to take photos and have a drink etc. Abdul our guide made the tour even better with his knowledge and information about Morocco and Berber life. Lunch provided was very tasty and in a great setting. Supposed to be a small group but we were the only 2 that day making it a private tour which was great. Abdul answered all our many questions and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend as a day out from Marrakesh
Abdul was a delight on the tour. He provided detailed Moroccan history, culture, and humor on our tour. The lunch was incredible and the views unbeatable. He takes you to a few shopping spots and offers tips. His own passion and love for these people and valleys is clearly injected into the tour. Big fan.
Adul was very knowledgeable! The views were incredible and the berber food was beautiful and very filling! Only down side the berber shop where I was charged 300 for 100ml of massage oil! But as I only paid for a small group and ended up with a private tour (2 people) I didn't mind so much
Its a very full day with plenty of stops for photo opportunity's Stunning scenery and the lunch was surprisingly tasty. Abdul our guide was fantastic he was witty, well informed and on the twisty roads a very safe driver.
This may have been the best tour I've ever taken from Viator!!!! Abdul was simply incredible! He was so full of information and showed us so so much. The viewpoints in each valley were amazing! The lunch with the Berber family was a definite highlight.....and delicious!!! I would give this tour and Abdul 10+ stars!!
This tour delivered exactly what was advertised and more. We visited five valleys and our guide Abdul delivered a history lesson on Morocco and the Berbers dating back thousands of years. In addition we had dinner at a Berber family home. That meal was the best authentic Moroccan meal I have had in Morocco. It was slowly cooked for over 4 hours and spiced perfectly with chicken melting in your mouth. There was nothing disappointing about this tour. Several opportunities for pictures, questions, and a walk up the mountains. 5 Star tour and Abdul was a 5 Star guide.
