Meet your Tour guide at the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your first stop will be Giza, where you can explore the Giza Pyramids and famous Sphinx. . then head to the Panoramic area where you can see all the pyramids together...
The second largest pyramid at Giza and in Egypt was built for Khafre, the third pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom Period of Ancient Egypt around 2540 BC. Khafre, also known in history by the Greek name Chephren, was the son of Khufu, who is the Great Pyramid and the grandson of Sneferu, another great builder of Ancient Egypt. External visit is included but inside the pyramid is not as it requires additional ticket can be bought during the visit .

What a wonderful experience in Cairo! Ahmed provided a fun and educational private 3 day tour to the Pyramids, museums, Coptic Cairo and Islamic Cairo. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His love of his country’s history and culture is evident. The cost of the trip is well worth it! Highly recommend! Having transportation included was a big plus.

My guide, Ahmed suggested I take the 30-minute camel ride at Giza as it would be an experience of a lifetime. He was right. Had he not suggested it, I probably wouldn’t have done it. And the camel handler took great photos with the pyramids behind me. Well worth the cost of only $25 plus tip, of course.

We made an arrangement with Ahmed El Swedy to provide a half day guided tour to Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). During the tour, Ahmed provided much in-depth information from the design of the GEM, to the themes and arrangement of each exhibition area, from the Grand Hall, going up along the Grand Staircase, to each gallery. We were very impressed with all the info he provided. By the end of the guided tour, we convinced ourselves that we should come back to visit GEM in the near future, and to have Ahmed as our tour guide again.

Ahmed (tour guide) and Islam (driver) accommodated our early flight arrival (7:30am). It was great to get to the pyramids and Sphinx before the crowds and heat set it. Seeing these monuments directly is amazing. We then went to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which recently opened. It is enormous and impressive. After our tours, we went out to an Egyptian restaurant for lunch. It was authentic, enjoyable and they were able to accommodate gluten restrictions. Ahmed (tour guide) accompanied us throughout all the tours. He is cheerful and had a lot of great information to share. He also takes great photos!! Islam (driver) drove us directly to all entrances and waited during the tours. He is an excellent driver in the busy street Cairo. And a friendly person to spend time with.
