Throughout the tour, passengers will have the opportunity to view several of the numerous glaciers found in Lago Argentino, including the Seco Glacier, the Spegazzini Glacier, the South Heim Glacier, and the Peineta Glacier. Once in the Refuge you can enjoy the gastronomy, the shop and an incredible panoramic view from its rooms and from the outside (Deck & Terrace). Another possibility is to take the mountain trail, of medium difficulty through a wooded path, with natural viewpoints, full of incredible views that ends at the landing point.

Beware pick up Confusion
Great boat trip. We loved the Glaciers and the lunch venue. We booked on Vaitor and there was a big mess up somewhere between Viator and the tour company. We were told 830am pick up at our hotel. We received a call at 7:30 AM to ask why we were not ready for pick up. We caught a taxi to the jetty which cost us US$60. The tour company confirmed they would refund us and after requesting a refund, they denied the refund on the basis that there was a confusion over the ticket, even though we received two reminders to pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. My advice is that you take great care when confirming whether you are booking a transfer or no transfer and what your subsequent pick up time is.
Operator response
Dear Hendrik Arendsen, We are sorry to hear about the confusion regarding the pick-up arrangements and understand how frustrating this situation must have been.
However, we would like to clarify that the option purchased through Viator was the “No Transfers” option. With this option, passengers are required to make their own way to the designated meeting point, as hotel pick-up is not included in the service.
We understand that your hotel information was included in the booking request, which may have contributed to the confusion. Nevertheless, adding the hotel details to the request does not change the selected service option or include a transfer in the booking.
We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the pick-up arrangements and appreciate your feedback.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the boat trip, the glaciers, and the lunch experience, and we hope you were ultimately able to enjoy this beautiful excursion.
Kind regards,
Tangol Tours

Unique show
We were picked up by a combi from the hotel, very friendly. They took us several km to where we boarded a boat, a sublime experience, the front of the glacier is something indescribable for the extraordinary, the very good explanations, when you return they wait for you and leave you in the afternoon night at the hotel. Highly recommended. Don't stop doing it.

They treat you like cattle...
Boat trip where you can see the glaciers in the distance, but it is like seeing them on the walkways and it is free... I prefer the excursion where you will touch the glacier with the blue safari. Besides, I was queuing up to be stamped on migrations and he came after us a group with a guide, and they got ahead of us to board earlier and stay in the best places, a lack of respect... they treat you like cattle... besides you complain and justify themselves... they are a lot of scumbags.

Unmissable!
Amazing tour! Beautiful navigation across the lake, passing by the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier. On the way we can see icebergs that have broken off and the images are surreal! Pay extra to stay on the top deck! It is worth it! The place where we stopped for lunch also has a wonderful view!
