Both the afternoon and the night are very lively and fun in all the terraces and restaurants in this area of Albacin

The Paseo de los Tristes, whose official name is Paseo del Padre Manjón, is known by this name because it was the place where funeral processions passed on their way to the cemetery. To the left of the Paseo de los Tristes, in front of the Alhambra, was the neighborhood of Los Axares, which means "of health and delight", which they also called the Hospital of Africa, for its beauty and the temperance of its climate. You will find a lot of movement and bars in this square, which is always very lively and has magnificent views.

The Dar al-Horra palace "House of the honest", located in the Alcazaba Cadima, was part of the great palace of the zirí king Badis, although archeology has not yet managed to provide convincing data to confirm it. It was named after having been the official residence of Aixa la-Horra, wife of Muley Hacén and mother of the last emir from Granada, Boabdil.
