Algarve Jeep Safari tours

We took part in the three-hour tour today, which according to the screenshot and booking was supposed to be an off-road tour. We only drove on roads through towns and along the coast and it had nothing to do with the description according to the booking at all. When we asked, we were told that we had booked the city/beach tour and only the other three vehicles were intended for the off-road tour. There was apparently a communication problem or organizational error at some point. Our driver then tried to save the situation and made the best of the misery. Note: Our Pajero was then used for a broken-down vehicle and we switched to a Suzuki Vitara. This can always happen with off-road operations, but that was just the icing on the cake. Our advice: Before starting the tour, inform your boss exactly which tour you have booked; there were different opinions here! A replacement was offered, but something like that cannot be arranged in time; it would have been nice if it had worked out right away.

We rented a jeep for three The guide who accompanied us in another vehicle was friendly and spoke French. We were able to drive the jeep each in turn as planned, and we passed through varied terrains with climbs and descents. We drove through a stream, it was refreshing. We crossed beautiful landscapes In short, we recommend this excursion

My wife and myself found we were the only ones on this two-hour tour. We now know why they asked us if we would change to another date - which we couldn't. A very enjoyable experience with a chatty and knowledgeable guide. Two things stop us giving this five stars. One was that at Silves we had only 30 minutes to explore the castle and get back to the meeting place. We could have done with at least an hour. The other thing was that the vehicle, being a 4-wheel drive off-road vehicle, was very high off the ground. As my wife finds it difficult to get into and out of an ordinary vehicle she found it almost impossible with this one. I would have thought that there would have been some sort of step available for those who are not as able-bodied as the rest of us.

Our guide Luís was very accommodating and knowledgeable. We took the 4 hour tour (Silves and cliffs) and were pleasantly surprised. Had a very nice time!

Our guide was pleasantly surprised that we were his first clients from the Czech Republic. The guide Luis was nice, he had a pleasant conversation with us and told us a lot about history and Portugal in general. The trip was pleasant and met our expectations, thanks to our guide Luis for a perfect experience.

We had an incredible and unforgettable experience – the Jeep Safari was truly one of the most impressive adventures of our holiday. The views were absolutely breathtaking – from mountains and coastlines to wild nature and hidden local villages. It left us speechless! We chose the self-drive option, and it was the best decision – we drove the jeep ourselves, could stop wherever we wanted, take photos, and enjoy every moment. We felt completely free and immersed in a real adventure. We had a private safari with our amazing guide Luiz – a person who clearly loves what he does, and it shows in every step he takes. He explained everything clearly and passionately, with genuine love for the region. Luiz not only showed us stunning landscapes, but also shared his knowledge about the Algarve’s nature, history, culture, and local traditions. With him, we didn’t feel like regular tourists – we felt like welcomed and respected guests. The route was perfectly planned – authentic places, unexpected discoveries, and heartfelt moments. It was an adventure with meaning, leaving a lasting impression. A huge thank you to Luis for his warmth, professionalism, and for sharing the true spirit of the Algarve. This experience gave us beautiful memories, and we sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to see Portugal in a different way – real, vivid, and from the heart. 🇱🇹 And yes – in his 12 years of work, we were Luiz’s first guests from Lithuania! Very knowledgeable, friendly man, drove well and made it fun along the way. Would definitely recommend the experience and it's great value for money.
