At Clover Pass, you’ll meet your captain and first mate before stepping aboard an enclosed jet boat, the Miss Cindy. Prepare for a thrilling water adventure as your captain navigates through bays and inlets, while your narrator gives you insights on the land, the air, and the sea. Aboard the boat, you will have the opportunity to see the abundant wildlife of southeast Alaska, such as eagles, porpoises, and seals. From May through September, whales are often sighted along the tour route. Silverking’s exclusive elevated boardwalk trail allows you to walk into the normally difficult to access rainforest. Discover it’s secrets like Old Man’s Beard and nursery trees. At the end of the trail, be sure to have your camera ready for the largest known red cedar in the Tongass National Forest. Then, venture back to the lodge for a seafood boil including Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn, garlic, pearl onions, and french bread.

The meeting point is Ward Cove ships: Meet your guide at the Ward Cove Welcome Center 15 minutes before departure. Tour departs from Ward Cove. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHUTTLE DOWNTOWN YOU WILL MISS YOUR TOUR. All downtown ships meet at “The Rock” statue next to the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau, 15 minutes prior to departure. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Alaska’s Best is an incredible seafood boil experience from start to finish. Being family-run gives the whole experience a warm, personal feel, and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The boat ride out to the boil made the experience even more memorable, with beautiful scenery along the way. The seafood was delicious and fresh—an experience I’d definitely recommend!
Once in a life time adventure , with the best tour guide and caption ! The food was top notch . This exceeded my expectations, ending with a whale sighting .
To start, there was a preplanned shuttle from the ship to the dock. From there, the staff was ready, organized, friendly, and courteous. They had transportation ready for us. All we had to do was hop on the boat. Emerson was our tour guide and Adam was our captain. Both were exceptional. Emerson made the tour very personal and he was very knowledgeable. The captain was also very helpful and he knew the lay of the land! When you first get there, you’re taken in a BEAUTIFUL trial. The food was 10/10, you can’t beat it. When you get seated, it is a full spread. They are just so friendly!! ALSO we saw humpback whale!!

Was easy there and back from the cruise area in Ketchikan. We saw seals, deer and the amazing Tongass rain forest. Lunch was great! P

Henry was our guide. He was fantastic! We saw deer, eagles and a seal as well as learning about Kentchikan. There was some confusion for us as to pick up, and they went above and beyond to find us, pick us up and get us to where we needed to be. Great company, great tour, great seafood boil. We did this excursion through Princess Discovery Cruise. It was a beautiful morning. 30 minute drive with Jacob on the bus. Our boat tour with Emerson and driver Trevan was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly! We had the most amazing seafood boil at SilverKing Lodge. Highly recommend!!
