Agadir excursion will lead you to discover the kasbah called Agadir Oufella; an old kasbah destroyed by the earthquake in 1960, then the center of the new city called la nouvelle ville, stop at the main mosque, Argan oil extraction factory, and the grand Souk; (large market in town).

The marina is built on an area of 18 hectares, by the sea, in front of the bay. It is one of the most important tourist projects in Morocco. Its promoters Aziz Akhannouch, Ali Ouakrim and Ali Zaid have made an investment of 18 million dirhams. A Canarian company Marinas Canarias built a large part in partnership with the company Marina Agadir. This represented one of the first economic cooperation projects between the Agadir Souss-Massa Draâ region and the government of the Canary Islands. Officially inaugurated in September 2007, the marina consists of residences, hotels, and almost 130 shops, but also restaurants and cafes and a marina for about 300 boats. The marina is the ideal place to relax during the day or in the evening.
the castle, known and named as “Agadir Oufella”, built in the 16th century, but crumbled during the 1960’s earthquake. This Kasbah is perched on a high hilltop where you will enjoy a fabulous view of Agadir city and its surroundings.
The mosque in the Talborjt district, the largest in the city, is located at the intersection of February 29 Street and General Kettani Avenue. It bears the name of the grandfather of the current King Mohamed VI. The carved wooden doors, the work of the mosaics and its majestic size make it one of the most beautiful mosques in the region. As in other mosques in the Kingdom, access is restricted to Muslims.
“Souk Al Had” the largest market in the city; a very interesting one for all sorts of shopping.

I honestly had the most fantastic time! Houcine was our driver from the airport and he was so friendly, informative and excited to share his country and culture with us that I did not hesitate to book another tour with him. The communication was excellent, the price was reasonable, he arrived slightly early and packed in so much to our half day. I went on my own with him as the friends I was staying with were busy and I felt very safe and well looked after. We had great chats, he shared stories and pointed out loads of things that I wouldn’t have otherwise thought to ask about. He was flexible with timings for the day and so patient waiting while I shopped for souvenirs and tried out the different argan oils! There was also no pressure at all to purchase anything in the places we stopped and he also was really impartial when giving advice about other things to do in the area which I appreciated. I can highly recommend the cable car up to the Kasbah and the wonderful views at the top! I got chatting to two lovely ladies in the cable car who were also wonderful guides and we were firm friends by the time we came back down! Everyone is so so friendly and welcoming in Morocco. Houcine was there waiting for me when I got back down from the Kasbah and delivered me safely and quickly back to my accommodation. A wonderful day and I can’t thank him enough for making my holiday even more memorable.

Hussein was a great guide and gave us lots of info about the area whilst taking us between sites. We had the tour to ourselves and Hussein checked before we started what things we would like to see (and so we avoided the usual shops and argan oil factory which we did not want to see). Hussein dropped us off at the sights we wanted and left us to wander on our own. We never felt pressured to stick to a time or to hurry. If you are looking for a knowledgeable private driver for a personally-curated tour/taxi then this is the perfect tour.

Very well organized half day trip in Agadir! As described on the website, we were able to visit all the important sights without any problems.
