Long ride Good guides Needs better Scenery

I enjoyed getting dressed in their look but the view and where the camels walked was not scenic at all. Very much a dump and loads of trash The guides and our hostess were excellent. The tea and cookies were very good. They need to try and find a more scenic location.

Operator response

Dear guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a detailed review. We are truly delighted to hear that you found our guides and hostess to be **"excellent"** and that you enjoyed the traditional garments, the tea, and the cookies. Providing a warm, welcoming, and authentic cultural experience is at the very heart of what we do. We also want to sincerely thank you for your honest feedback regarding the scenery along the trail. We completely understand your disappointment, and we share your frustration about the trash found in some areas. To be fully transparent with you and our future guests, the path we use is the officially designated trail for all camel and horse riding activities in Agadir, shared by all operators. We, along with other local businesses, are in continuous dialogue with local authorities to improve the maintenance and cleanliness of these public areas. In fact, our teams often take the initiative to organize clean-up efforts themselves because we care deeply about preserving the natural beauty of our environment. While parts of the trail can be affected by this issue, we hope the more scenic parts of the ride, especially along the Souss river and through the eucalyptus forest, still offered moments of beauty. Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us put more pressure on the relevant authorities to take action. We are committed to not only providing excellent service but also to being a positive force for our local environment. We truly appreciate your high praise for our team and hospitality, and we hope these positive aspects remain your fondest memories of the experience. Warm regards, Sanaa Dar Souss Loisir

Not what I had hoped for

Area had litter and rubbish everywhere. Not at all picturesque apart from a very brief stop at the river. We had a young lad lad leading our camels, who was great, but we had groups of locals on horses being loud, throwing stones at birds, and one crashed into me and my camel because he was riding backwards and didn’t see where he was going. Really uninspiring area and a bit chaotic. The young lady who met us at the end with tea and snack was charming and knowledgeable.

Operator response

Dear Valued Customers, First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your interest in and trust in our service. I also want to thank you for your comment, which I consider extremely important, as it highlights an issue that occasionally concerns us on this route—the presence of litter. This is a recurring challenge faced by all providers of camel and horse trekking, as this is the only route authorized by local authorities. I sincerely hope that those responsible will take such complaints into consideration and work toward sustainable solutions, as preserving our environment is crucial for the development of tourism in our region. I also hope that those who dispose of waste irresponsibly will see comments like yours and be encouraged to stop polluting our beautiful surroundings. Regarding the other horse and camel trekking providers you mentioned in the region, many of them operate unofficially. It is puzzling how Google and other online platforms include them in their listings of tourist services. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your visit, for your thoughtful feedback—which I view as highly positive—and for your kind evaluation of our camel guide. I also appreciate your kind words about my daughter, Asmaa, who had the pleasure of welcoming you. Best regards, Lahoucine

Best ride of my life

It was well organized. We were dressed in traditional clothing then lead to our camels. Everyone was so kind and helpful getting us on our camel. We went for a two hour ride lead by two young lads who took very good care of us. Also followed by a dog who comes along with the ride. The ride was so good. When we got back we had mint tea and cookies. This is a family run company and they take pride to ensure you are having a great time. This is truly worth it. I would not hesitate to do it again.

Good experience but route to review

The staff and the lovely welcome! The walk went well with the camels. The course would perhaps be to review because a lot of waste and not very nice... The only nice point of view is at the end with the flamingos.

Operator response

great experience in Moracco

We enjoyed this excursion very much! The 2 hours went by quickly. We went by the kings gardens and to a river and returned to have nice tea and cookies. The staff was very nice and arranged a port pickup for us which was very helpful..

Go for it!

We experienced a 2 hour trek and very much enjoyed our well organised experience. Our hosts were very hospitable and attentive. We were clothed in authentic costume to help shield us from flies and welcome mint tea and biscuits were proffered upon our return. We trekked through a varied terrain and all was calm and peaceful. After 2 hours our sit bones were complaining a little but this didn’t detract at all from our overall enjoyment of the experience. Highly recommended.

Camel ride

Excellent, the guides were very nice! We were treated to a turban and even great photos. Top quality/price ratio

Operator response

Lahoucine AANDADI Dar Souss Loisir
