The meeting point is Use Google/Apple Maps → At Umena St. gate enter #9559. Drive 3 miles uphill following green/white horse signs. At 1st fork go LEFT. 2nd fork, go left to Camp Pālehua. Follow dirt road pass yellow dumpsters, through 2 gates, and park in dirt lot, check in at white tent.. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Every horse was calm and sweet. Thanks to the guide's friendly explanations, even a beginner like us could enjoy the scenery with peace of mind.I took the 4 PM ride before sunset. The breeze from the ocean was pleasant, and because it was a mountain path, there was shade here and there, so it wasn't too hot.An amazing view of Ko Olina and gentle horses. It was the best time. Thank you to the lovely guides and the horses!
The views were fantastic, our guide Angelic was wonderful, my horse Pono was on auto pilot so I could take in all the scenery 😁 The drive there took longer than we thought because of traffic…we were late but with a heads up, were still able to go out .
We had a wonderful day on the mountain! Our guides were Angelique and Ciara, and they were friendly and helpful the whole way. The views were amazing! We rode Olaf and Lani who were confident but gentle. Would highly recommend, a great experience.
The ride was nice and the horses adorable. Hike adapted for beginners, it is only at a walk. The guides are nice and vigilant.
It was very nice and awesome views, the staff was very professional and very helpful. The ranch is located up the mountain side and the car ride was pretty awesome as well. We really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff let us give hay treats to the horses which was the first time that we were given the opportunity & the horses just loved eating the treats. We highly recommend this horseback riding experience.

This experience was much better than I ever imagined. Lani was a great horse and was so easy to ride (I’m a beginner). She a Virgo horse hat loves butt scratches and love people. Our tour guide was so personable. My group of friends had to take an uber to the camp and they were waited extra time to make sure we got picked up. If I were to go horse back riding again I would pick this place everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Great views. Great pictures. 10/10 is not high enough.
10/10! The guides are so lovely and competent, the horses were all so calm and clearly well cared for. The trail was absolutely beautiful and had the most amazing views, our guide stopped and took pictures of us at the midway point and at the end we got to spend a little time with our horses and feed them treats if we wished, my horse Pono was such a handsome gentlemen and was just a pleasure to ride 🤍 My partner had never been on a horse before and the guides were so helpful and his horse Lady was also so gentle and calm with him 🤎 thank you so much for such a lovely afternoon, we definitely will remember it forever 🐴🌴⛰️🌊

Had a great experience and highly recommend for anyone interested. Ciara ran a great trail ride and it was clear everyone’s safety and satisfaction was her focus. The horse are great, well tempered and amazingly cared for. I rode shaggy and he was a brilliant, well trained horse Will be back again

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful, relaxed, and scenic horseback riding opportunity while on vacation. We found Sunshine Mountain Vista Horseback Trail Ride on Oahu. Let me tell you that the staff was AWESOME! The walked us through the safety briefing, answered questions and got us on our horses in no time. The animals were just BEAUTIFUL and the trail was was very scenic. Took wonderful and memorable pictures, our guide was a ROCK STAR! All in all a wonderful experience for our 30th Anniversary. We would recommend Sunshine Mountain Vista Horseback Trail Ride on Oahu to anyone that wants a calm and relaxed atmosphere with great staff and beautiful animals.
