We enjoyed our visit here. We found the tour to very informative and loved seeing the entire process of bead making. Yes, some of the items in their gift shop may seem pricey but you can find reasonably priced items as well and when you think of the cause you’re supporting, I think you can’t go wrong with purchasing an item or two.

This was an incredible visit! Be aware that pulling up to the compound where it’s located is very deceiving but well worth it. We were greeted with a song and smiles. The young woman who guided our tour explained every step in the process of making the beads and introducing the women making them. The shop was amazing! Not only are the necklaces, bracelets, earrings and leather goods of great quality, but I felt I was supporting these women supporting themselves. The products were very fairly priced and the perfect size (and weight) to bring home as gifts!
