Excellent Bike Tour

From start till finish our guide Matt was amazing. He showed us around Adelaide, pointing out all the major sights and took us into the Adelaide Oval. As it was just my husband and I on this tour we felt very spoilt and were thoroughly entertained with all the facts, sights and stories along the way. The bikes are great quality and come with a pannier to put your bags, jackets etc in. We started with coffee and cake and ended with wine tasting and a charcuterie board 😋. A fantastic morning and we would highly recommend Bike About Tours

Great Week!!

Jodi and I have just spent a most enjoyable week touring parts of South Australia with Bike About Tours Not really being bike people I can’t praise our guide Matt highly enough. His knowledge of the regions and routes we passed through was impressive and being a genuine “ bike man “ gave everyone on the tour ( mostly oldies) a lot of confidence in our limited abilities! The itinerary, wine tastings, accommodation and E-bikes in my opinion were all sensational. We look forward to touring the Flinders with this team next year. Fergus and Jodi Hay

Nice bike trip

We chose a bike tour as my husband is not so well walking. It was a lovely trip, where we got a taste of Adelaide & cycled past many sights. Matt our tour guide was friendly & very informative. The breakfast with wine tasting at The National Wine Centre was also good. The trip can definitely be recommended.

Operator response

TripAdvisor translation isn't working, but it says 5-star, so thanks for the nice review haha :) Dan

Two days biking in Adelaide

We have had the best two and half days with Dan from Bike About! We spent two full days biking - one through the city parks of Adelaide and all the way to the beach where we had a lovely lunch overlooking the ocean. Dan owns and runs his company and takes care of every single detail. He goes out of his way to make it fun and interesting- even trying to spot a koala for me!!! His bikes are awesome - super light for E-bikes with comfy gel seats. The second day we went on a tour of the vineyards and farms in the Adelaide Hills with a stop for lunch at the Lane Winery and a Strawberry Farm. When we come back to Australia we want to go on a longer bike tour with Dan!

Operator response

Thanks guys! I really enjoyed having you both here. See you next time :) Dan

Must do Adelaide experience!

We had a fantastic experience on the Adelaide e-bike tour with Matt! It was perfect from start to end! The e-bikes are very good quality, the cycling route is easy, scenic, safe and interesting. Matt was so kind, capable and energetic. It was a highlight of our holiday in Adelaide. Great value for money. Our family group had four riders ranging in age from 16-70 years! It was fun and informative for all of us! This is the one Adelaide activity you must not miss!

Operator response

Thanks so much! Glad all four of you enjoyed the day :) Dan

Better by Bike

A great day out with Matt, riding around key attractions in Adelaide - Adelaide Oval, Torrens River, around the Zoo and Botanical Gardens with a stop at the National Wine Museum. Matt was informative and provided great local knowledge. Bikes made it easy to get around. A great way to see and learn about Adelaide.

Adelaide city Tour

An excellent way to view the city. Matt was a great guide, and full of knowledge and enthusiasm for his home city. So much to love about Adelaide. Wine tasting at end topped off a great afternoon! Ended up in a group of like minded travellers which added to the day. Thanks Matt, will certainly, recommend your trips and who knows may even get back to try another tour! Enjoy the old ghost road when you get there. Thanks again W&L

The various paths and regions we cycled were very manageable with the e-bikes. Lovely scenery and Autumnal colours. Beautiful region. Accommodation was very comfortable. Matt and Dan made transfers between the various places work well and all went very smoothly. Great time had…. Thanks guys
