My wife and I had a great time on our trip to Abu Simbel with our driver, Hany. From the beginning, Hany was incredibly friendly, informative, and thoughtful. He shared a lot with us about the history of Aswan and Abu Simbel along the way, had plenty of snacks and waters ready for us in the car, and did a great job explaining the plan for the day and setting expectations for what was ahead. Once we arrived at Abu Simbel, we also had a great experience with our tour guide, Ahmed. He was knowledgeable and did a great job walking us through the history of the temples and helping us better understand what we were seeing. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and well-organized day. We learned a lot, felt well taken care of throughout the entire experience, and would definitely recommend both Hany as a driver and Ahmed as a tour guide!
The day started very well! Our Driver Hany was very kind, looking after my unwell father. He also provided excellent history - old and present during our drive to Abu Simbel making it a more filled day. A great selection of snacks for the long journey too! Our guide at Abu Simbel - Ayman was also very good at explaining the history and our questions of the sight. I highly trust and recommend this company for a different approach than cruise to visit Abu Simbel!
Excellent transfer vehicle, comfortable, clean, new. Many good and careful driver. I found that such an Egyptologist is a picaretage, not only here, but in general in Egypt. They always talk five minutes about the same stuff and they want to get 20 bucks for that simple service. If he returned, I would only hire the transfer directly at the hotel, without a guide.
I paid alot of money for an early collection as its very hot in August. We were collected at 3.30 and sat at border crossing for an hour because the tour company didn't pay the extra money for our crossing. When we got to Abu Simbel the "Egyptologist" didn't even come to meet us he was down collecting extra tips helping other people. When he finally started our 15 minute talk he gave us inaccurate information and wasn't able to answer any of our questions. It was a complete waste of time and money. The driver was pretty cool but we didn't pay all the money to have a good driver....dont waste your money

Our major starting time is 4.00 a.m not 3.30. and we provide a private service only not a joining tour as you mentioned. So I'm sorry you are reviewing wrong supplier and wrong page .please be accurate when review ppl because this may cause troubles for us Thanks .

It is a very long trip from Aswan, but fortunately my driver was very kind at all times. Despite not speaking either Spanish or English, we were able to communicate using an app. We got stuck due to a flat tire, which apparently is common because of the road conditions, but fortunately I had a spare tire. Now, I give 4 stars because at the last minute they changed my Spanish guide for another in English, apparently because the Spanish guide suffered a calamity. I clarify that the English guide was excellent (I think his name was Hanny), but I would have preferred that the contingency had been covered with a Spanish guide. I have nothing to say about the temples, other than that they are a must-visit.
Great personal service from Magdi. Great information along the drive to Abu Simbel. Even gave us lunch hints. Highly recommend his comfortable and quick service.
