Did the Above Ground WW2 in Bristol and was absolutely amazing! From the moment the tour started, it was full on with so many interesting facts but all at a steady pace in which it could all be taken in. I was amazed at how much was actually covered. The tour guide for the day was Duncan who's passion was there all the way. I would highly recommend this tour if not done before. If you have done before consider doing again, am sure something new would be discovered!

Another excellent guided walk , this time on the Above ground WW2 blitz tour. Duncan the guide is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the tour. He always keeps it interesting and is happy to talk about other quirky spots around Bristol. Nice he joined us for a drink at the end too. Highly recommend, and even if you think you know Bristol everything there is to know about the city you will learn something new along the way.

This tour is really special. Out guide was a real enthusiast with extensive knowledge of the Bristol Blitz. The route is picturesque and takes you from the Old Town through Castle Park towards parts of the city which people usually overlook but are so interesting and well worth visiting. This tour should be at the top of the list for people who care about Bristol's past. Well done!

Duncan is an excellent guide - knowledgeable and entertaining. He told us a great story with lots of fascinating details which conveyed the impact of the World War 2 bombing. Before I had no idea how much Bristol city centre had changed as a result of the bombing so I learned a lot. The itinerary was good - mostly flat, not too long, frequent stops - so altogether a very pleasant experience.

This was a really good walk; the leader was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The length and pace were about right, given the different ages of the people attending. I am content to recommend it.

Duncan brought the history of Bristol in the Blitz to life in this walking tour. I've lived in Bristol for almost 30 years and we saw some parts of the city centre that I had never even noticed before. I've also been on the Air Raid Shelter tour and this provides a fantastic above ground accompaniment to that one. Duncan clearly cares a lot about the history of the city and is committed to spreading the word about the Bristol stories of Bristol that are perhaps not so well known, but which are fascinating and really enhance my appreciation of this defining period in the city's past. Thank you Duncan for another great tour.

Fascinating tour with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Duncan paced the walk well, illustrated with before and after (the bombing) pictures, made sure everyone had caught up before starting to speak. Difficult subject to explore but respectfully done. Friendly group added to the pleasure. Good length for an urban walk without hills.

Really interesting and informative tour
