Very good guide but tight cancellation policy
Daniella was a super guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive to our needs, and generally fun to be with. For other travelers, the only thing I would mention is be very careful when you book that you will follow through with your booking. We have had guides from different companies that allow for a 48 hour cancellation. This company says you must cancel within seven days to get a full refund. We certainly understand that, this is a business and last minute cancellations aren’t really fair. But overall, for people travelling from far away, and who reserve months in advance sometimes if the weather is bad or other reasons, it is nice to be able to make a decision closer to the day. And not lose a significant amount of money.

About the cancellation policy, since it was a private tour it's pretty normal to have a cancellation policy that starts from 7 days before the tour: all the guides use it, even worse. If something happen caused by force majeure, such as bad weather, we are always available to find and provide alternatives not to cancel the tour

Beautiful and Tasty Parma
Our tour of Parma with Emanuela was terrific. We visited many sights around town, had a pastry and coffee in a local shop, and finished with an extensive tasting in a spectacular 16th century cellar. Emanuela was very knowledgeable and other Food Valley staff we met also were impressive. Would recommend this tour in lovely Parma.

Good Eats and Vino
Parma is a charming city and we had a lovely tour of historic sites by our guide Emanuela, with a stop at a charming cafe for delicious hot chocolate and Italian pastry, followed by a delightful lunch in a renovated wine cave at the offices. Highly recommend Food Valley Tours. They will also arrange trips to see how cheese and ham are made, but we preferred to eat!

Delicious food AND cultural highlights
Very interesting tour of this lovely city, its delicious food and its beautiful sights. With this tour, you have a super nice first insight into the Emilia Romagna region. The guide is able to customize the tour for the customers. For example, if you want to get an insight into history and arts, the guide was perfectly able to match the tour with your interests.

Nice guided tour
We enjoyed our private tour in Parma, beautiful city with outstanding traditions. Our Italian guide was very informative and took us to very special places. Food was great and inspiring, We'll definitely come back to Parma.

A must do while in Parma! Great experience
Absolutely loved this tour, it was great to discover the city with Michelle! I would recommend to do this tour as soon as you arrive in town as Michelle gave us so many tips about places to see and to visit afterwards. We took the afternoon tour and we walked around Parma for a couple of hours, visiting the main sites and tasting great food (to keep high our energy levels :))! All tastings were really generous in portions and delicious so make sure to come to this tour hungry. Michelle knowledges about Parma and Italian art history were incredible, we really enjoyed our time with her and we learnt many things about the local culture. I really recommend this tour
