Unforgettable memory of our visit to Armenia and the monumental places and learning history of those places.

My family of 7 from Sydney booked the full day tour to Garni, Geghard etc. on 8th of August through Envoy Tours. We enjoyed it very much and had an excellent experience visiting the monumental venues. We had Marine as our tour guide and Aram driving the car. Marine was very good explaining everything from start of our tour from Yerevan and throughout the tour. She had good knowledge and very patient with our queries and requests. Aram was very respectful, professional and gentleman and he made our trip safe and comfortable. We had lunch in Fantan village hosted by Nver Pashoyan and his family. They were very respected people and enjoyed the lunch by Mr. Nver talking about story of his village and other subjects. They served us very nice Armenian home made cuisine, sweets drinks etc. It was very delicious, clean and mainly from their own produced fruit, vegetables etc. All of of my family of 3 generations enjoyed the entire tour including the venues, tour guide, transport etc. We gladly recommend it to everyone visiting Armenia.

Operator response

It was a pleasure welcoming your family and sharing Armenia’s history, culture, and hospitality with three generations of travellers. We truly enjoyed spending the day with you, and we are delighted that you felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the tour. We are also pleased that the home-hosted lunch with Nver and his family was such a memorable part of your experience. Thank you again for choosing Envoy Tours and for recommending us. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Armenia one day again!

Fantastic day!

We had a fantastic day, the sights were beautiful, and we learned so much about the sights and the history of the country. We also had a delicious, varied lunch served at a family home (which was a consistent highlight in all tours we joined Envoy).

Taste of armenian past and present

We went on a private tour with our friends. The car was very comfortable. I communicated with Marine about our reservation since November, we got all information in time and she also kept in touch before the departure (we were in two different hotels). Marine gave us lot of interesting facts not only about the sites we visited, but also about life and current affairs in Armenia. We'd like to appreciate home made lunch in family house in the countryside. It was very authentic experience and food was delicious. It gave us opportunity to talk about armenian cuisine. Without Envoy tours it would be very difficult to visit all the places in one day and for sure we wouldn't learn that much. The whole tour was perfect and we were happy to visit all these beautiful places with Marine.

Operator response

Dear 944linb, Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience from the initial planning stages through to the tour itself. It’s especially rewarding to know that the cultural insights, the home-hosted lunch, and the overall journey made a meaningful impression. Creating seamless, well-rounded experiences like this is exactly what we aim for. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again for another journey in the region.

Worth the price!

The tour was very well organized: on time, right pace, and a safe driver. Our guide, Saten, was very knowledgeable about Armenia's history and passionate about it. I really liked her positive attitude. The tour included a homemade lunch in a local family's home, which was absolutely delicious.

Great day out

This small group day tour was fantastic. The local guide was very knowledgeable and the number of stops was perfect and they were also different. The scenery in this part of Armenia is outstanding. The tour also included lunch at a local families home and we sat at their dining room table with so much home-made food. It was so delicious.

Operator response

We agree that the lunch experience is a highlight and we are glad you enjoyed the authenticity of it. We hope you have taken many wonderful (and tasty :) ) travel memories with you. Hope our paths cross again in your travels. Sending you warm regards from our Crew.
