Exceptional experience
Having been on many different styles of safari trips, this mobile safari was the best! Loved being so in touch with the natural beauty of the Okavango delta and Chobe regions. Lucas was our guide extraordinaire! Having been raised in the area, his knowledge of the landscape, plant life, animals and birds was amazing. We appreciated his commitment to the Botswana motto of "Quality over Quantity". He gave us the opportunity to see all the big animals AND spend time watching their behavior, including family group interactions at Wild Dog and Spotted Hyena dens, and hours spent watching lions and leopards. Lucas was also completely in tune with our desire to see the small things, whether it was plant life or birds. We were fascinated by a pair of Hamerkops building their huge nest. We added many new bird sightings to our lists. As a birder, he is exceptional. As for camp life...it was wonderful. Our support staff (Mosa, Mateng and Chucks) made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome every day. The chef, Mosa was a magician in his bush kitchen; the food was fresh and delicious. the fresh baked breads, muffins, cakes and even hamburger buns reminded us of going to the best neighborhood bakery every day. The new campsites were always set up beautifully when we returned from the many game drives, and the hot showers were always welcome. The mokoro and Chobe River boat rides added even more special moments to this incredible experience. Lucas, we thank you and your team for your warmth, humor and professionalism!

Authentic Africa
We’ve been on safaris throughout Africa for decades and this was the absolute best - and even a new learning curve like no other for us.
Lucas's profound local knowledge of all fauna & flora astounded us. He is intimately in tune with the rhythms of Botswana's natural world - able to decipher animal calls, tracks, behaviour & movements, locating mammals, birds, insects & reptiles with meticulous knowledge, patience and care for wildlife welfare.
Others rushed, we waited, listened & were led into the true heart &, aesthetics of Botswana's wilderness
Locally owned (which was so important for us), Wild for Game's service & logistics is 5 star authentic Africa, with incredibly comfortable accommodation (down to the hot water bottle in bed, hot showers & roomy tent locations), extensive & varied gourmet food (with bread, cakes & muffins (for morning & afternoon teas) baked daily in an ingenious ground oven) and a marvellous (and humorous) team that made us feel totally safe and special.
At the end of every safari in their super comfortable new vehicles we were
greeted with silver tray drinks & fireside snacks - all we could eat & drink, and
more.
Such a privilege to have shared 8 days with this dedicated team of locals - and have the minutiae of African life truly laid bare for us.
Thanks Lucas, the enormous local respect that befalls you is very well earned.

Magical moments in the wild, all thanks to our incredible guide, Lucas.
I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional tour with Lucas and his team in April. It was already my second tour with Wild for Game Safaris, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way.
The wildlife sightings were simply breathtaking. Lucas demonstrated remarkable skill and expertise in tracking, reading signs, and finding animals, guiding us to unforgettable encounters. We were always given plenty of time and space to quietly observe and fully appreciate these magical moments in nature.
Throughout the entire tour, Lucas and his wonderful team took outstanding care of us. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and nothing was ever missing. The team’s warmth, enthusiasm, and constant good spirits made the experience even more special, and we were truly spoiled with delicious meals.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for these unforgettable days. I am already looking forward to returning in July—and I am counting down the days with great anticipation.

Excellent Safari Experience
It was an awesome experience. A truly luxury camping experience - hot showers, private toilet and a bed that was better than many hotels. Food was excellent. Lucas was a great personality and he knows the areas so he could be the first to find the animals. He was also happy to sit and watch. Would definitely book again.

We had a very rewarding trip which exceeded our expectations
Our Wild for Game Botswana Safari was 13 days. We had a very rewarding trip which exceeded our expectations and saw every animal we had hoped to see and more. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to be helpful and considerate. They are very efficient at braking down, moving and setting up camp. The chef is very skilled and prepared a variety of delicious meals. Malks, our guide, possessed an intimate knowledge of the terrain, the animals and their habits. He easily tracked and located animals and positioned the Land Cruiser to afford the best possible encounters. Malks was often the first guide to locate animals and we could see that other guides respected his skill and experience. He continually taught us about the country, insects, birds, animals, vegetation and weather which was very informative. He mixed up the outings to give us a variety of experiences; bush, plains, forest, boating trips etc. We are recommending Wild for Game Safaris for a memorable experience.

Unforgettable moments forever in the heart
Our safari was simply breathtaking! From the first moment everything was perfectly organized – from the friendly reception to the last minute in camp. Our guide was incredibly competent, inspired us with exciting information about the animals and nature and always knew exactly where to make the best observations.
The team behind Lucas did a top job and spoiled us well. I would like to highlight the great food, varied, very delicious and always freshly prepared on and in the fire.
The tour fulfilled all our wishes. We experienced many great moments together and say thank you to Lucas and his team. We will come back as soon as possible

The best safari experience!
We had a great experience with Wild For Game Safaris. Lucas, the owner, greeted us at the airport in Maun where we took our flight to Xakanaxa airstrip to start our safari. From the very beginning it felt it was a high-end experience. Max, our guide, was waiting for us and took us on a safari before arriving in our camp. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole trip by Max and the team. The camp amenities were nice, clean and comfortable. Besides the guide, a chef and two assistants were always taking care of the 3 of us. The food was absolutely delicious (entrance, main course and dessert, and even cakes in the afternoon), we had a hot shower available whenever we wanted, a hot water bag put in our beds every night, so many details! And always greeted with a smile. The wildlife encounters are next level too, we saw so many different animals! On the last day at the Chobe Riverfront, where we saw groups of people on boat excursions, we had a private speedboat arranged for us. After that, we had arranged a transfer to the Zimbabwe border, so Max took us there, helped us with the paperwork, and made sure our transfer in Zimbabwe was there to pick us up.

Better safari than we could have dreamed of!
10/10 experience with Wild for Game Safaris. Our family of four had an amazing time with Lucas and his team. The safari itinerary was a perfect mix of parks/concessions including Moremi, Kwai and Savuti over 8 days. We saw more wildlife than we could have hoped for, in no small part thanks to Lucas’ wealth of experience as a guide. He made every game drive an adventure and his depth of knowledge of Bostwana’s parks and animals is second to none. It was such a pleasure to experience this beautiful country with a local guide who has such deep respect and passion for the land and wildlife. We saw every animal on our list- and then some - including two male lions patrolling at sunrise, a den of hyenas with their young, wild dogs on a hunt and a leopard with her kill. We even saw a honey badger!
The camping was luxury- hot showers on demand, amazing food and wine (we still don’t know how the chef baked perfect cakes at camp!!) comfortable bedding in roomy tents and extra little touches like hot water bottles waiting in our beds for the chilly winter nights.
Wild for Game is truly a master class in mobile camping safaris. We are already planning our next trip with them and would not hesitate to recommend them for your ultimate Botswana safari. Thank you Lucas!!!

Unforgettable mobile safari experience
We spent an unforgettable week on safari with Wild for Game, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the stunning landscapes of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve to the rich wildlife of the Khwai community area, every moment was magical.
Our guide, Shadreck, was exceptional—personable, deeply knowledgeable, and with a sharp eye especially for birdlife. His familiarity with both the park and surrounding community area brought an extra depth to each game drive.
The mobile safari setup was outstanding. We were extremely well cared for by the entire camp crew, and the level of comfort was remarkable given the remote setting. The camp chef worked wonders in his bush kitchen—freshly baked bread and cakes were a daily treat! We slept in cozy canvas tents, complete with comfortable beds and hot water bottles to warm us on chilly nights.
What made this safari truly special was the immersive experience: surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wild, we felt completely connected to the environment. The flexibility of the mobile safari allowed us to adjust our itinerary on the fly, making each day feel spontaneous and tailored.
Lucas, the owner, keeps group sizes intentionally small, ensuring an intimate, personal atmosphere with no crowding in the vehicles. The vehicles themselves were well-maintained and comfortable, ideal for long drives through the bush.
Each morning we set off at first light for game drives, returning to camp for a delicious cooked lunch and time to rest. Afternoons brought more adventures, with sundowners in breathtaking spots to end the day.
Our experience with Wild for Game was truly memorable. The combination of world-class guiding, warm hospitality, and a spectacular setting makes this operator stand out—we would recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable safari.

Not recommended
I have done a few safaris in different countries in the past, and this one did not impress me at all.
The driver did not seem very skilled, and wasted a lot of time during game drives talking with other drivers/guides, making us lose time.
The routes he took along the national park were not the best, since we did not see many animals… he was not really interested in looking for animals either.
And last but not least, the accommodation was terrible. They stated to be “luxury tends” but they are anything like that. The mattress was as hard as a stone, and I woke up with back pain every morning…
