We saw so much wonder and history, plus much of Central Turkey. We splurged for the upgraded hotels and we were very happy with all of them. Our driver, Yildo, was very good, drove safely and kept my wife's car sickness at bay. Our guide , Josh (Coskun) never once consulted a book or cheat sheet. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great representative of his company and his country. The sites were better than I thought. I expected some smaller sites, but Laodicea, Pergamum., Sardis, Ephesus were all very large and filled with wonderful sites to see and experience. Even the smaller sites had things to learn and experience, they were all just amazing adventures. I'm one step closer to the history of my faith because we took this tour. We drove all over Western , safe almost everywhere, and ate in tourist traps and small town restaurants . The difference was usually the price. The food in Turkey is very good, and prices are very cheap. Really loved our time in Turkey.
