Itinerary

Pass by

Castel Sant'Angelo is one of Rome's most iconic fortresses, built as the mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian and later transformed into a papal residence. It dominates the Tiber with its imposing circular silhouette, connected to the Vatican by the famous Passetto.

10 min

The heart of Vatican City, St. Peter’s Square was designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini to create a grand and welcoming space for pilgrims. The colonnades, arranged in an embracing semicircle, symbolize the Church’s arms open to the world. At its center stands an ancient Egyptian obelisk, flanked by two beautiful fountains. The square leads directly to St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest church, home to masterpieces such as Michelangelo’s Pietà and the majestic dome designed by the artist himself.

10 min

One of the highest hills in Rome, the Gianicolo offers one of the best panoramic views of the city. It is known for its historical significance, as it was the site of battles led by the Italian patriot Giuseppe Garibaldi during the fight for Italian unification. A tradition dating back to 1847 continues today: every day at noon, a cannon is fired from the hill, a practice started by Pope Pius IX to standardize the city’s clocks.

15 min

In the heart of Trastevere, the Peroni Store celebrates the historic Italian beer founded in 1846. A space where tradition and design meet — perfect for a short stop between shopping and discovering the story of a brand that symbolises Italian craftsmanship.

10 min

(OPTIONAL) The Aventine Keyhole is one of Rome's most fascinating secrets: through the keyhole of the Knights of Malta's door you can glimpse St. Peter's dome perfectly framed. A magical and surprising view.

Pass by

The Circus Maximus was the largest arena for chariot races in ancient Rome, with capacity for up to 250,000 spectators. Today a vast green valley that evokes the spectacle and passion of the original Ben Hur.

10 min

The Colosseum is the most iconic symbol of Rome and one of the greatest architectural wonders of the ancient world. Built in the 1st century AD, it was the largest amphitheater ever constructed, hosting gladiator battles, animal hunts, and public spectacles for over 50,000 spectators. Despite centuries of damage from earthquakes and looting, it remains an awe-inspiring testament to the engineering and grandeur of the Roman Empire.

Pass by

Piazza Venezia is one of Rome’s busiest squares, located at the intersection of several major roads. It is dominated by the grand Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, also known as the ‘Altar of the Fatherland,’ built in honor of Italy’s first king. The square is also home to Palazzo Venezia, once the residence of popes and later the headquarters of Mussolini during World War II. This historic location connects the modern city to the heart of ancient Rome

10 min

Rome’s most famous fountain and a masterpiece of Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous fountains in the world and a masterpiece of Baroque art. Designed by Nicola Salvi in the 18th century, it features the god Oceanus at its center, riding a shell-shaped chariot pulled by sea horses. According to tradition, tossing a coin into the fountain with your right hand over your left shoulder ensures your return to Rome. Every day, thousands of visitors take part in this ritual, contributing to the city's charities.

10 min

Piazza Navona is one of Rome’s most beautiful and lively squares, built on the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian. It is famous for its three fountains, including the stunning Fountain of the Four Rivers by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which represents the four major rivers of the known continents in the 17th century. The square is surrounded by elegant Baroque buildings and cafés, making it a perfect spot to experience the city's vibrant atmosphere.

10 min

The Trinità dei Monti staircase is one of the most elegant symbols of Rome, seen from the top of the Pincio in a unique perspective. From here the view opens onto one of the most evocative panoramas of the city.

Pass by

The Mouth of Truth is one of Rome's most famous legends, carved in the marble of the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. Made famous by the film "Roman Holiday", it continues to fascinate visitors from all over the world.

A lovely evening around town

This was such a fun experience! Vito was full of information about each of the sites we visited and also about many buildings and sites along the way. The city is beautiful at night and the Fiat 500 only adds to the charm.

The Fiat 500 Dolce Vita tour is just as sweet as advertised

We had the absolute best time on our tour of Rome with Jack! He was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the sites and brought the history of Rome to life in such an interesting and engaging way. You could tell how passionate he was about the city and its history. What really made the tour special, though, was Jack himself. He was so charming, personable, and genuinely fun to spend the evening with. He made the experience feel less like a typical tour and more like exploring Rome with a friend who happens to know absolutely everything about the city! And seeing Rome in the cutest little car made the whole experience even more memorable. We were able to see so much of the city in such a fun and unique way, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and unforgettable way to see Rome, I cannot recommend Jack and this tour enough! The perfect amount of time and such a great value! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Big Disappointment in Luxurbe and Trip Advisor

Very disappointed. We booked this early and this was the one experience we were waiting for months to do. It was ideal, and instagram moments and a chance to see all the highlights in a short period of time. Shortly after we boarded our flight to Rome from Barcelona that morning they messaged me and I saw it when I landed. Their fiat had to go into maintenance and would not be repaired in time. They offered us a golf cart it isn’t what we wanted. I tried to see if I could move the day or time to resolve and they said it would not be repaired before the weekend. Then when I conceded to the cart they tried to change the time. There was a lot of back and forth, it was stressful, frustrating and disappointing. In the end they agree to pick us up in the golf cart and keep close to our tour time. Which they also said was a glitch..and should have been a different time. Then the final nail in the coffin was finding us. Then it was no longer a private tour we were seated on the back of the golf cart, me and my daughter and a nice couple in front of us. To be fair the tour at night is amazing and the guide was awesome and getting off and on a golf cart was likely easier than a fiat but I felt jipped. The tour guide was great and we saw many amazing things but it was ruined from all the hassle and I was disappointed the company did not refund and I felt false advertised if they only had the one fiat. Really disappointed to this day as we talked nonstop to family and friends about doing this and then didn’t get to. Trip advisor was not helpful and I didn’t get any sort of credit or refund. We didn’t even buy fiat souvenirs after the bad experience. Thank you to the tour guide who helped make it up a little bit with what we could hear and he made sure we saw all the sites we wanted to see at night. I’m also thankful for the nice couple that let us join them I hope they weren’t disappointed if their trip was also supposed to be private. I think the night tour is worth it but for the price of the private fiat they should reduce the cost if you are now in a shared golf cart

Operator response

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely regret that the unexpected maintenance issue affecting the Fiat changed the experience you had originally anticipated. When an unforeseen technical issue occurs, our priority is to offer an alternative rather than cancel the experience entirely. We are nevertheless pleased to read that you found Rome by night amazing, that your guide was great, and that you were able to visit all the sights you wanted to see. We appreciate your comments regarding the vehicle substitution and booking arrangements and will use them to continue improving our service. Kind regards,
