Charly, Delsy and the photographer (can’t remember her name) were great guides. My favorite stops were the underwater cenotes and the shipwreck, both unusual sites to see. You’re able to deflate your vest and dive down briefly if you’re a strong swimmer. We saw lots of colorful fish and two sea turtles. The fish and turtles are used to snorkelers and let you get within a few feet. Logistics in case helpful: The boat had a dry spot to store our things and water was provided. There are two shower stalls when you get back, as well as a shop selling snacks, drinks and souvenirs. They even have espresso for sale. They provided a free photo of us (on land) and you can buy professional quality underwater photos if you’re interested, for $70 USD as of the time of this review. Since sunscreen isn’t allowed for the safety of the coral, I highly recommend a rash guard and shorts if you burn easily.
Incredible experience with a top-notch professional crew that supplies everything you need and makes sure you see the wonders of this beautiful area. We were beginners and felt safe the entries time. We saw many varieties of tropical fish, unique sea creatures, swam side-by-side with a sea turtle, explored underwater ruins and a shipwreck! All in crystal clear blue waters and documented by their incredible photographer! We were mesmerized! THE BEST part of our Cancún trip. Truly remarkable!
Great half day tour to go snorkeling with the family. Mauricio and Capitan Barracuda from Marina Norte Tours were great. We swam with tropical fish, saw three sea turtles, a shipwreck, and an undersea cave (cenote). Highly recommended as a short excursion while in Cancun.
So cool. We had a great tour guide. Definitely worth the money. Great experience. Highly recommend….
If you are looking for just a snorkeling trip, no bs, no drinks or party, this is the best value for your money. 10 to 12 people group in a boat, plus captain, guide and a photographer. Professional guide, sufficient time at each place, beautiful sea. The reef was amazing, so many colorful fish. The cenote in the underground museum were impressive. We saw several turtles, one of them was at least 3 ft long and swam just few feet away from me. If I wanted I could have touched it but the guide warned us not to do that. The shipwreck was the most beautiful part - crystal clean water and so many fish swimming along and against me it was simply spectacular. The photographer takes pictures and videos of you in the water, you can buy the package if you want, but no one pressures you. If you like underwater life this is for you.
Fusebio was a wonderful captain, and Delsy is one of the greatest guides I have ever had! Such a lovely group! I hope to come back as soon as possible <3 <3 <3
What a fabulous trip. The confirmation and communication re pick up time was fairly immediate. They arrived 5 mins early in a lovely van. Check in was swift and efficient and before we knew it we were on our way. Billy our guide and Sergio the boat driver were lovely. We had just 6 people on our boat and saw 4 turtles, 3 of which were away from the hoards of people packed around large catamarans. Billy was horrified one of the guides from a large catamaran (la Victoria I think) dived down and tried to touch the turtle. That’s clearly not allowed and yet he had a huge group of almost 30 people with him. Disgraceful. I loved that we were a small group as our swims were far more peaceful and relaxed than fighting through 30+ people on the big boats. Also we had a photographer on board. He took the most amazing videos and pictures. Absolutely no pressure to buy anything but at just $60 for about 80 pictures/videos it seemed like the best money spent ever. Thoroughly recommend this trip.
The operation and guide were good, professional, warm and helpful. This tour is good for families with tweens or teens that dont want to travel far or someone that wants to splash in the water or not comfortable in the water. For anyone who wants to see lots of fish, diverse reefs, more than a few statues, over crowded wreck or more than a hole in the ground that is called a Cenote then this tour is not for you.
Activity highly recommended for nature lovers. Besides the crystal blue sea, the diversity of marine life is amazing, with fish of all sizes and colors, turtles, rays, corals... Kike, our guide, always attentive and solicitor, knows the region, and transmits that he loves what he does and nature. Barracuda, our captain, took us to see the different places to dive, and the best photos were from photographer Manuel, a crack. Thank you very much.
The experience was incredible, I have no words other than to say that we would repeat it many more times
