Our experience with Machu Picchu Expeditions was not what we expected, as we were ultimately unable to do the 5-day Salkantay trek due to a problem with altitude sickness. After speaking with the agency about what happened, we were able to reach an agreement and they offered us financial compensation. In addition, they gave us the option to do another excursion, so we were finally able to enjoy another activity during our trip. We appreciate that they got in touch with us and looked for a solution to the situation. Although the initial experience was not what we expected, we appreciate that we were finally able to reach an agreement.
An amazing experience. I especially emphasize the good organization and attention of the guides, who were always watching us and made us feel very supported and safe throughout the tour. Very good value for money. I definitely recommend it! 🏔️✨

Our guide Elio was very friendly, helpful, and told us many interesting things during the tour. We received very good, plentiful, and varied food. The accommodations were also a good fit. It was just a shame that we did not visit the coffee farm. All in all, we had a very nice time and were able to enjoy the Salkantay Trek very much.
It was an incredible experience! We had the best food we atr in Peru, and everything was taken care of. from the coca tea in the morning to all the transportation and our fantastic guide. I would highly recommend it!
