Not so good for a single traveller. They bring you to a village or a hotel and then the "guide" is gone. Not what I call "guided tour". It was more like having a bus driver who decided where you should go, then he took you there. There was only a trivial amount of information while we travelled and nothing once we arrived - anywhere.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your tour with us. We know how much the guide's commentary & storytelling is important to the tour and I regret to hear that you felt like there wasn't enough information shared during the driving & when arriving at the different sites. This is not what we would expect from our driver-guides and we'll be sure to raise these concerns with our operations team. We truly appreciate you choosing us for your tour and we're sorry that it didn't meet your expectations on this occasion. If there's anything more you want to share with us, don't hesitate to get in touch directly at feedback@rabbies.com All the best, Camille
There’s a lot of travel time between stops but it is well worth it at every stop. Comfy shoes a must.
It was a well paced tour and a good balance of personal and guided time. Lots of sights along the way and our guide was kind and accommodating. She was knowledgeable and tried to engage the group with playlists; jokes; stories along the way. Was calm under pressure as we got a flat tire and always put our safety first. An enjoyable trip.
Pete was our driver and guide. He was caring, considerate and had the classic British 'understatement' wit. He was very prepared with information on destinations and sites en route. He checked in regularly on passenger wishes and made accommodations where feasible. A great experience overall. My second Rabbie's tour. Will definitely book another in future.
I have been on many escorted bus tours of this type but this one has to be at the top. Our guide, Jack, was an excellent driver and was knowledgeable, professional, always pleasant and patient and made this trip lots of fun. It was an amazing experience through a beautiful and historical area and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Jack!
Beautiful journey. Good guide and driver. Good hotels. Good group. I wish in the package the rail journey to top of Snowdon mountain was included.
We absolutely loved this tour and the opportunity to visit small villages and places of historical significance. We felt we had plenty of time to explore on our own and the overnights in Aberystwyth and Tenby were so lovely.
I booked a five-days tour from London to discover Wales and had an amazing experience. I was able to see beautiful landscapes and had different chances to take photos. My guide were Jack and Carl(trainee), They were knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Jack was also very accommodating, Our tourmate Debbie wanted to see sheep and he made it happen. His best knowledge and story telling ability of any tour guide I have seen. The way he tied in the stories and music to where we were made the long day of driving go by quickly. Jack also bought Welshcake so we could taste it. Jack was an awesome storyteller and I loved his stories. Carl was a warm, friendly guide too, he helped another tourmate Christine to walk around places, because she's not very well at her mobility. Highly recommend this tour and let Jack or Carl be the tour guide. Thanks, Jack and Carl.
We had a great experience our driver Jennifer was very professional. Jennifer was a good and safe driver with excellent knowledge of of the places we went. I can highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I took the 5 day Heart of Wales tour and it was fantastic! Our driver/tour guide was Helen. She does an amazing job of sharing English history. Her friendly, engaging personality and sense of humor was quite a plus! St David’s Cathedral, Harlech and Pembroke Castles are amazing! The small Cotswold villages were very attractive. We especially enjoyed the coastal towns and the ocean views! We highly recommend this tour and Rabbies!
