Unfortunately, I would not recommend this tour company based on our experience. We booked and paid for our excursion in advance through our travel agent and were told we would have an additional cash expense of around $70 per person on the day of the tour. Once we were already on the bus and had made our first stop, our tour guide asked if we wanted to swim in the cenote and told us there would be an additional charge for the life jackets. He initially told us we needed to pay $500. We refused, and suddenly he said our balance was $360, which my father paid. When we arrived at the cenote, we asked an employee there directly how much it cost to swim and rent the life jackets. We were told it was already included and the only additional expense was around $5 if we wanted to rent a locker. So our guide had attempted to collect another $140 from us for something that was supposedly already included. We also watched another family on our bus give him an additional payment before he approached us. The tour itself was also disappointing. The guide switched between English and Spanish, which wasn't an issue, but even when speaking English he was extremely difficult to understand, so we missed a lot of the information about the sites we were visiting. It was also an extremely hot day and no water was provided or even offered. We've done other tours in Mexico and have never experienced anything like this. The lack of transparency with the charges was the most concerning part and left us feeling like we were being taken advantage of because we were tourists. I strongly recommend getting every fee and what's included in writing before getting on the bus, and questioning any additional cash charges you're asked to pay.
Juan and Zeferino were great!
It was cool, the whole tour was very entertaining
The place is very nice and the tour shows you the best, the people who assisted us, Ceferino and his companion, are very kind
The trip was great. However, the time for pickup could be improved. More efficient Southat more time could have been spent at the venues.
A very beautiful experience. The guide Zeferino and the driver Xyan were very professional and very kind. We had a wonderful day. Thank you very much 😊
The day was full and really good. Unlike Chichen Itza because there were too many people and especially on the bus we were a lot. Whereas for the 4x1 we were in a small group. I really recommend this activity. Many thanks to Zeferino the guide and the driver.
Zeferino was great on the tour very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Would recommend this tour guild and tour.
A very good service, good gide and orgnozation
Personally, they should give more time in the archaeological zone since it is very limited and we are going around with limited time.
