Alex was an extraordinary captain, knowledgeable, professional, attentive yet friendly. Me and my husband felt safe throughout the trip and enjoyed the smooth navigation on the spacious, elegant and well maintained boat. We booked the 4-hour option which was perfect to admire historic villas, filming locations and the beautiful villages around the lake. The two stops for swimming were an additional surprise. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Lake Como.
Alex was an outstanding capitain and the boat is even better in person than in the photos: elegant, immaculately kept, and extremely comfortable , like you are not on the water: the daybed is the perfect spot to just lie down and watch the villas go by and all the unique sightseen of Como Lake. But honestly what really makes the difference, though, is the captain. Alessandro grew up on this lake and has a real sailing background, and you can feel it in every choice he makes and in how he drives the boat throughout all the experience on board . He reads the weather and the winds as a local expert, picks the safest and most comfortable route without ever making a fuss about it, and still manages to show you the best of the lake. Calm, competent, never rushed. You can feel safe and comfortable. He’s also genuinely accommodating – happy to shape the itinerary around, and great company throughout. I’ve done boat trips in several places, but this one really stood out. If you’re going out on Lake Como, go with someone who truly knows it. Book Alessandro. L
Our day with Alessandro was truly an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The boat was very comfortable for the four of us and his knowledge of the history of the area and the homes is impressive. We did the 5 hour tour which was the perfect amount of time to see everything, and was totally worth the price. He will make sure to tailor the day to whatever experience you wish. Alessandro also made us a dinner reservation, which was one of the best meals of our stay. I highly recommend booking with our new friend from Como!!

We had the best time on our boat tour! Alex was awesome and very knowledgeable about the lake and showed us so many great spots. He also had spots for us to jump in the water which was amazing. I loved that he provided towels and water. I would highly recommend this experience as it was one of our favorite things from our honeymoon.

Alex was amazing. I was a little nervous to book, but his reviews were great, so I booked the experience. I then reached out to Alex to see if it was possible to add time to have lunch on the water and see more of Lake Como. Not only did he say yes, he gave us a number of restaurants to consider and then offered to make the reservation for us. It gave me so much confidence going into the tour having a relationship with Alex. The weather showed rain the day of tour, so he asked to start a little later to avoid the rain, and it was the perfect call. We learned so much, saw the houses of the stars, learned the history of the area, and he dropped us off to walk around in a town for a bit. I can’t say enough about the overall experience.
