A great experience in a beautiful setting! We carried out the activity in a group of 7 people with 1 guide, from which we received good instructions in English. This trip is doable for teenagers and their parents (with a little basic fitness).
We had a three night stay with this company and it was fantastic from start to finish. We did the canyoning, rafting and kayaks and every time it was spot on guiding and excellent organisation. Petra and team run an amazing set up and we felt super welcome. This is not a mass market company….they offer much more personalised stuff. Apartment was ideal for us and lots of outdoor space to enjoy the weather and scenery. If you are in Soca valley for some activities you won’t find better.
I wanted to share a canyoning experience with my son, inspired by how much I loved it years ago in France. When we arrived in the Soča Valley, we found Abyss — a team I had heard about online among many others. I’m truly glad we chose them, because they turned our day into an immaculate adventure that went far beyond our expectations. Tjaž, Petra and Guillermo were incredibly experienced, friendly, and clearly passionate about nature and outdoor sports — not just doing this for income. We felt lucky to have found them. The entire canyoning tour felt completely safe from start to finish. I received a brand‑new wetsuit and amazing shoes that made stepping on the rocks easy and secure. The canyon itself was stunning, the weather was perfect, and the whole experience will stay with us as a beautiful memory. It was absolutely worth the value. The atmosphere was relaxed, the team spirit was great, and it was refreshing to escape everyday routine. There were no crowds, no admission fees, just pure adventure with genuinely good‑hearted guides. We even met a baby salamander in the river — a small but magical moment. If you feel like trying canyoning, be brave and go for it. Trust Tjaž and his many years of experience. I would recommend this team over any commercialized alternatives — if you know what I mean. We had an amazing rafting trip with Abyss on the Soca River. Booking went super smoothly, we were warmly welcomed and guided, all equipment was provided, and Naco was our guide who led us safely through the wonderfully choppy waters with lots of humor and enthusiasm. Rafting with Abyss is highly recommended!

I went with my girlfriend for canyoning and kayaking. It was amazing experience. We had so much fun. Organization and hospitality was amazing. Petra and Tjaž are doing great job. They are so kind, and they are professionals in what they are doing. I would recommened them to anyone who is in Bovec and looking for adventure and enjoying trip. For sure we will go back to Bovec and book a tour with them.
Canyoning at Fratarica and it was beyond amazing! Staff at Abyss are super nice people :) Guide who took us to Fratarica was very fun and we all felt really safe doing all the slides and jumps. I think everyone should experience this adventure!
