At each stop, step out to enjoy breathtaking scenery, explore the rim, and engage in meaningful teaching. Your guide shares fascinating insights into Grand Canyon geology, wildlife, and history, framed by the biblical account of Creation and the Flood described in Genesis. The tour concludes with a stunning Grand Canyon sunset as the sun sets over the western horizon. Duration varies by season, returning about 30 minutes after sunset. Additional rim tours, backpacking, and river trips available.

Itinerary
Our biblical creation tours of the Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim include multiple stops to the very best overlooks with tons of insightful teaching throughout the day. The order below is a "typical" route, focusing on the park's east side along Desert View Drive. Due to changing weather, seasons, or the people flow in the park that day, we may have alternate stops other than what we provide below. Our tours are not "scripted", so guides have the freedom and flexibility to respond to changes in the park as well as your own individual group dynamic. Our tour does not include entry fee into the Grand Canyon National Park, which you may pay at the gate or use a National Park Pass. Entry is good for 7 days of unlimited use.
Our tour meets at the flag pole just outside the Grand Canyon Visitor Center building INSIDE the park at tour start time. Plan extra arrival time during spring and summer. Holidays and spring break may have lines over an hour long getting into the park. We suggest you arrive early and enjoy views at the Grand Canyon Village or Mather Point or a Rim Trail walk before joining our tour.
Starting near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, our first stop provides you with an introduction to the Grand Canyon and its geology. We will lay the foundation for the rest of the tour regarding the biblical events of the Flood found in Genesis and the significance of what we'll be exploring throughout our tour.
Learn about the exciting Wild West people history at Grandview Point, with talks on mining both copper and tourist pockets in the early days of the Grand Canyon National Park development. Enjoy wide vistas and the distant Colorado River as we talk about the significance of the canyon and whether that river has the power to cut and remove this material.
While taking in fantastic river views, including one of the canyon's largest rapids, we will talk about the Native American Ancestral Puebloans who lived far below on the Unkar Delta. At Lipan Point, we will also showcase the geological Great Unconformity, Cambrian Explosion, and the Tapeats Sandstone—all of which provide fantastic observable evidence for a global Flood. Learn about the mechanisms of the Flood from its onset, and how we believe the sedimentary rock layers were deposited through this year-long destructive event of biblical proportions!
A lot of water, in a little bit of time. Learn about the carving of the Grand Canyon by what we call the "lake spillover" or "breached dam" model, something first proposed in geology all the way back in the 1800s and still held by both creation and some secular geologists alike today. See beyond the Grand Canyon to the distant Vermillion and Echo Cliffs of the Marble Platform and southeast to parts of the Painted Desert. Learn about the nearby historic Desert View Watchtower, completed in 1932.
Concluding at one of the very best locations to watch the sun as it sets below the distant cliff walls to the west, close out the day with the One who made it. Adequate time will be given to sit, relax, and enjoy this special time. Blankets are available, as is the comfort and warmth of the vehicle should we be in cooler weather.
After the tour, our guide will drop you off back at your vehicle at the Grand Canyon National Park Visitor Center, or wherever else you may have parked that day. If you booked the Train & Sunset Tour (available on our website), we will return you to your vehicle in Williams.

Emelia was our tour guide. She was absolutely amazing!!! The entire tour was phenomenal. To give a little more perspective, my 20 year old son and I did a sunset Horseshoe Bend/Slot Canyon tour the evening before… the Biblical Creation Sunset Tour was so much more enjoyable and informative! We enjoyed it so much that we would definitely go back for the 8 hour tour! The 20 yr old said “this is pretty awesome” multiple times during the tour!
Amazing tour with many stops offering different views of the canyon. Our guide Emilia was extremely knowledgeable not only about the canyon, but also about biblical creationism. It was a very informative with beautiful scenery. If you're looking for a bible-based explanation of the formation of this natural wonder, or if you're open minded to the possibility, I would strongly recommend this tour.
Emilia , the tour guide was knowledgeable, listened, answered questions and made the tour interesting. We loved having Emelia as our tour guide. We wanted the Biblical World view tour and we got that!
Some friends advised us that the Grand Canyon was the one national park, we are covering on our one month driving tour, in which we should be sure to get a guide. As we were searching for guided tours I came across this organization that provides tours from a creationist viewpoint. For us this hit the bill as we are creationists and were looking for a Grand Canyon tour. While it was a little pricey we think it was worth being taken to various viewpoints and having a guide who provided stimulating input about the theories of how the Grand Canyon was formed.
This was a FANTASTIC tour! Emilia was our WONDERFUL guide. She is a top-notch ambassador for the ministry! From the first moment, she was welcoming and accommodating for all the passengers, actively engaging the entire group. She even called each of us by name, which was impressive! We were very pleased with her knowledge of geology and discussion of secular versus biblical understanding of the region. We had plenty of time for each stop. This trip was to help my parents complete their bucket list (over 11 days, we visited the Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, Sight & Sound Theater in Branson MO) and our experience could not have been better. My mother said the Biblical Creation tour was by far her favorite aspect of the entire trip. We are huge fans. My husband and I look forward to coming back just the two of us for some rafting. We hope by then Emilia is a rafting guide. That would be AMAZING! Thank you for curating such a fantastic experience!
Just as the rafting trip was very good so was this tour, excellent job, would recommend it to all that are visiting Grand Canyon
Thank-you for the incredible tour! We where blessed by the sound Biblical teaching and having the beauty of God's creation explained in an easy to understand way was inspiring. Dayna did an excellent job and made it enjoyable for the children as well. God bless your ministry!
The tour was wonderful. Our Guide Emilia was fun, knowledgeable, and a real joy. Highly recommend!!
Anyone should do themselves a great service & take this tour. Because it’s not only a tour but an explanation of how & why we are all here.
Bob was a great guide and very knowledgeable. He called everyone by their name which made the experience very personal. He included all ages in his questions and explanations and would give high fives when answers were correct. He was on time. We got to see the perfect sunset. We would highly recommend this tour to others, especially if they want a Biblical explanation of how the Grand Canyon was made.
