I had a 4-day hiking tour to Machu Pichu booked a couple of weeks beforehand, and scheduled my vacation, flights, and hotels for this experience. I flew in, was ready to go, and at 20:40 before the tour was supposed to start (at 05:00!), I received an e-mail that the tour was cancelled. Hence, instead of having my 4-day hike to Machu Pichu, I was stranded in Cusco and had to desperately book accommodation and try to set up an alternative schedule just hours before the tour was supposed to start. I am beyond shocked by such reckless behavior. NEVER EVER BOOK WITH THEM!!!
