This adventure will definitely go down as one of the best parts of our trip to Morocco! I don't think there are enough words in any language to praise the people we had the privilege of meeting on this trip! Our first driver, Hussain, was so kind. He really went out of his way to make everyone comfortable, including when the road flooded stalling our trip, he found an alternate place for lunch and kept everyone smiling. When we arrived in Merzouga we met Hassan who introduced us to our camels and led us across the sand dunes. He was funny, clever and took tons of photos of us! Most importantly the camels loved him and he was so very kind to them. In the camp Youssef was in charge or information and meals. He is such a genuine, warm-hearted, generous and gracious human being. We opted to do the optional quad tour and got Mohammed. We had an absolute blast with him on the dunes. Finally, our trip to Fes was made absolutely perfect by Mustafa. He went out of his way to feed stray dogs, keep the tourist safe from scams, teach us about local culture and even get us treats to try from roadside stops. The people in Morocco have been amazing and wonderful and I feel so fortunate to have been able to go on this tour!
