I had the absolute best time with Marquito and Danger! They were both sososoosos supportive and always looked out for each of us throughout the whole trek! They were so enthusiastic, sooo funny and ahhh such a joy to be around!!! I loved every single moment and made it unforgettable❤️❤️ they were such amazing guides and were so clear with instructions throughout the trek! I really appreciate them!! The chefs were also brilliant and food was great!
Best experience ever. Marquito and Danger were the best guides ever and I had so much fun the whole way. The organisation was amazing, we had three course meals almost every meal and even got served hot tea at the top of Salkantay Pass (very greatly appreciated)! Despite the unexpected rain and weather, our guides kept the enthusiasm up and we had strong morale. Views both throughout the trek and in the camps were amazing. Everything was taken care of - from hotel pick up to drop off in Cusco. Our guides were the funniest ever and had the best sense of humour - they made this the highlight of my Peru trip!
Marquito, our guide, was amazing. He and the assistant guide, Danger, made the whole experience memorable! The food and accommodations were excellent. 4 days fit perfectly for our Peru trip and allowed us to hit a lot of high points (literally) in the Andes. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide Joel was the best. He was a joy to be around and he was all around amazing and made the trip unforgettable.
We had the best guide for the 4 day trek. Joel was the glue in our group and he always kept us going with some jokes!
My experience doing the short Salkantay Trek was amazing. The company was extremely organized from start to finish. Everything was taken care of which allowed me to really enjoy my trip. Our guide Julio Choque was exceptional!! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. His expertise made the trek more enjoyable. He is professional and knowledgeable. He took care of us and made sure we had fun but stayed safe. I would recommend the company and Julio to friends and family!
This was a stunning experience and well worth it. Julio Choque was an amazing guide! The trek was challenging yet doable, and Julio kept our spirits high. During the lighter sections, Julio gave us mini history lessons about Andean culture and medicinal plants that was very enriching to the experience, and during the harder sections we could go at our own pace and meet up with the group at designated points. The food was amazing--the chefs work so hard--and the places to stay were picturesque. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
This was my first time traveling to South America and I would recommend it again and again. Peru is so beautiful and has so many different climates and landscapes that I can’t believe that it’s one country!!! This was also my first ever trek/hike going to such a high altitude. My guide Julio Choque and he’s was THE BEST GUIDE could ask for. He answered every question I had, was very patient with me, and overall made the experience 10000x better than it would have been. He single handily was the reason why I enjoyed the trek so much. He was funny, charismatic, caring, and very very very knowledgeable. I couldn’t imagine how close everyone would get from that first meeting we had in Cusco. I would recommend him to anyone taking this trek. Please ask for Julio Choque if you book directly!!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!
This was my first trekking experience and Julito made it a great adventure. 4 days was the perfect number of days with 3 days of trekking and 1 day of machu pichu. Julito was patient and waited for everyone during each hike and was very knowledgeable about the environment including plants and animals, Inca history, and machu pichu history. He was engaging and energetic and made the adventure memorable! Thank you Julio!
We had an amazing experience on the 4-day Salkantay Trek. The organisation was excellent throughout, and the landscapes along the way were absolutely spectacular. A special thank you to our guide, Julio Choque, who was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always attentive to everyone in the group. He shared plenty of interesting insights about the local culture, history, and nature along the way. The trek is challenging, but absolutely worth it. An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!
