Unreal experience with high quality guides and exceptional food.

We were a group of 16 raising money for charity. We had a pre hike briefing, explaining the details of our route and key packing information. The trekking was really good, views incredible and the guides were supportive. They supported members in the group who needed more help and let the quicker ones walk at their pace. The porters carry most of the luggage and do an incredible job of preparing csmp and cooking delicious meals that you would not believe at height. Day 2 is the toughest hike due to the high elevation climbs but it is achievable for all of you maintain a steady pace and break when necessary. We were introduced to the porter team on day 3 which was nice but I feel should have been earlier and we could have done more singing/celebrations/bonding as a group. Shout out to the guides Renato, Nohe & Alberto for their support and dedication throughout the expedition. Special shoutout to Suso and his cooking team for exceptional meals and catering for all needs and the porters team for their strength and support at every arrival of the team. I would recommend this experience to anyone. The guides were flexible and made sure to make a great experience for all. We were lucky with the weather as with rain it would make it more challenging. We had rain on the final day when starting our hike to MP but that made it more magical when we arrived. If you are unsure whether to do it, go and create fantastic memories and support Trexperience and their team.

Fantastic experience with salkantay trek!!

I spent three weeks solo traveling Peru, and this 4 day Salkantay trek was by far the highlight of my trip! Our guide David was awesome and very knowledgeable, and our group of 7 was small enough that we all bonded really well throughout the trek. The hiking at altitude is tough, but if you're properly acclimatized and relatively fit you should be fine. Overall, it was an incredible experience with tons of unforgettable memories, sublime cooking (shoutout our chefs Fredy and Juvenal), and stunning views all around! Would highly recommend!!

4 day 3 night Salkantay trek

My wife and I recently finished the 3night 4 day Salkantay trek with Anthony from TreXperience. He lead a great trip and was exceptional in his organisation and planning for pickups and trip logistics. Our Chefs Oscar and Julio kept us fueled with exelant food even in remote camps and even made me a birthday cake! Leonidas was our horseman for the trek ensured our bags made it to camp dry and well before we could. We had a great time and it was capped off by a wonderful last night in Aguas Calientes in a nice hotel bed and the incredible Machu Picchu. Thanks Anthony and the Trexperience team that made our trip so fantastic.

Beautiful Scenery, Amazing Experiences, and a Wonderful Team

I had an amazing experience on this trip! The scenery was absolutely gorgeous—from snow-capped mountains and glacier lake to beautiful rainforests. One of the highlights for me was actually horse riding under the gorgeous snow mountains. I decided to do the horse riding because I wasn’t adapting well to the high altitude, but it ended up being one of my favorite experiences of the whole trip! It would be great if the company could offer horse riding activities or trips in the future, and I think many travelers would be interested. I also really enjoyed learning about the coffee-making and food-cooking processes on the third day. It was fun, interesting and made the experience feel even more authentic. I’d especially like to thank our guide, Juan de Dios, and our cook, Felix. Felix prepared delicious and authentic food throughout the trip, and I really appreciate all the effort he put into every meal. Juan was incredibly helpful and supportive, especially because I wasn’t fully prepared and struggled with altitude sickness. His help and encouragement made a huge difference and allowed me to catch up with the group and successfully finish the trip. I’m very grateful for his support! Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable trip. Peru is amazing, and there’s honestly so much to see and so little time. I’ll definitely have to come back for another trip in the future! Highly recommend this experience 😊

Excellent Guides, Food and overall experience!

Pepe Lucho and Wilbert were fantastic guides for the 4 day salkantay trek. They went above and beyond making sure everyone was as comfortable as possible even with the snowstorm we experienced days 1 and 2. The food was delicious as well!

Excellent trexperience!

The trek to Machu Picchu was amazing! Our guide, Alex, explained everything to us step by step so we always knew what we were doing and how to prepare. He had a very funny and bright personality too. My cousin got diarrhea and I fell on my hand. He calmly navigated both of those problems. The chef, Rosalio, cooked excellent meals! The food was more nutritious and delicious than how I eat back home. I would definitely book with Alex and Rosalio again for a different trek!

Amazing experience

Started Salkanty trek 5 day tripped unfortunately felled by travelers diarrhea (picked up before the trek) and had to bail on day 2 morning. The company helped me get down the mountain and back to Cusco with no problems. A very well run operation and our guide Alex was amazing. They also coordinated for me to rejoin the group in macchu picchu when feeling better. I wanted to specifically call out the cook Rosalio for the amazing food amongst the best I have ever had.
