4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara

Thanks to CAN Travel and our guide Biru for the 4-day Mardi trek. Everything was super easy to organise upfront with CAN and they were always very quick to respond to any questions. Biru was such a great guide, not just teaching us about the trek and mountain itself but also Nepali life and culture. When one of our group got sick he made sure we were going at a safe pace and adjusted the schedule so we were all comfortable. He also seemed to know many of the other guides and tea house owners and was always able to arrange anything we needed if it was available. I would recommend Mardi Himal for anyone looking for a short, medium difficulty trek from Pokhara. When we went in early October the crowds weren’t too big but the route is very well established and there are tea houses or rest points every hour or so along the way. Although the weather was hit or miss for us in early October, the view of the peak from the final stop was beautiful.

Great experience with the Mardi Himal trek. The team was very flexible and open to customization, and quickly adjusted my itinerary after my delayed international flight. I’m extremely satisfied with my Mardi Himal trekking experience. It was my very first trek in Nepal, and it exceeded all my expectations!!!! My guide, Kim, did everything possible to make sure the trek went smoothly and comfortably. He was incredibly kind, supportive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I was completely blown away by the views, enjoyed every moment and just couldn’t stop looking around. All in all, if you are thinking about doing this trek, it’s absolutely worth it!

We had the best experience with our trekking guide, Birendra. He was so welcoming and the kindest person. He helped us with everything, including the trekking permits and all of our transport. We were super excited during the three months leading up to our trek, and Birendra quickly answered all of our questions before we left. The trek was beautiful and very beginner-friendly! This was our first trek and won't be our last thanks to Birendra.

Really great tour and Birendra was a great guide. He explained a lot on the surroundings and supported us through the entire hike. It's been so nice to do the hike with him. We booked 4 days tour but it can easily be done in 3 days. Would recommend!

Overall this exceeded our expectations — perfect for both first-time trekkers and experienced hikers who want a slightly quieter route than the more crowded trails.
