Gabriel was amazing. Thank you so much for making this experience memorable 💃
It was great. We had a great time. Our captain was Gabriel and he was amazing.
Gabriel was very lovely. Highly recommended!!!
I rented two boats from Brusci Boat Rentals on August 15 for a group of 20 family members, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this company. The captains arrived about 15 minutes late because they said they were waiting for parking. However, that time was not honored at the end of our rental—we were rushed out of the water to make sure we returned on time. They later attributed the delay to the safety checklist, but that took approximately two minutes. We were simply waiting for the captains and boats to arrive. One of the biggest disappointments was the boat itself. I was sent a photo of a beautiful 37-foot boat, but what arrived was an outdated white boat in very poor condition. The floors made noises when walking, and the cabin smelled strongly of dirty, stagnant water to the point that no one wanted to be inside. We also took much longer than expected to reach Nixon Sandbar because only one motor was working properly. This was never disclosed beforehand. Even more frustrating, before booking I specifically explained that I wanted a boat that could access the sandbar. Once we arrived, we were told the boat couldn’t get onto it because the motors wouldn’t trim up. We had to stay outside the sandbar and swim in using floaties, which was difficult for family members who aren’t strong swimmers. Had I known the boat had mechanical limitations that prevented us from doing exactly what I specifically requested, I would not have booked it. The service was also disappointing. At one point, one of the captains was literally sleeping inside the cabin instead of checking on our group or making sure we were comfortable. For the amount of money spent renting two boats, I expected properly functioning equipment, better communication, and much better service. Between the late arrival, mechanical issues, condition and smell of the boat, inability to access the sandbar, inattentive captain, and then being rushed at the end, the experience was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not book with Brusci Boat Rentals again. There are more affordable options with much better service.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We always want our guests to have a great time, which is why our Customer Service Manager, looked into this right away and texted you the very next afternoon to talk through everything. We’d like to share the facts about how our trips run so future guests have the right expectations: Our Timing: Our boats have digital logs that track exact times. These show your group got your full rental time on the water. We actually extended your trip to make up for the late start caused by parking issues at the marina. The Speed & Route: The boat was fully working. The slow speed wasn't a broken motor—it was because our captains strictly follow Florida's 'No Wake' and safety laws in channels and crowded areas. We don't compromise on safety or local wildlife rules, even if other boaters do. The Sandbar: Low tides dictate how close any large 37ft boat can get to a shallow sandbar. For everyone's safety, the captain anchored as close as possible so the boat wouldn't get stuck. The Boat & Music: You received the exact 37ft model size you booked. Also, our captain did guide you to the onboard Bluetooth speakers downstairs so you could have music for your trip. While we understand your expectations were different regarding local speed laws and low tides, we still tried our best to make things right by immediately addressing this and offering your family a 20% discount for next time, which you declined. We wish you and your family all the best.
Unfortunately, our experience with this boating company was extremely disappointing. The boat itself was visibly deteriorating and did not feel well-maintained. We were also promised a trip to the sandbar, but we never actually made it there, which was one of the main reasons we booked the excursion. To make matters worse, the captain was very unprofessional. At one point, he was laying down on the bed instead of actively engaging with or attending to the guests. The overall experience did not match what was advertised or what we paid for. For the price, we expected a clean, well-maintained boat, a professional captain, and an experience that delivered what was promised. Unfortunately, we did not get any of those things. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Very Disappointing Experience & No Response From Management Unfortunately, our experience with this boat rental was extremely disappointing. The boat itself was deteriorated, had an unpleasant smell, and only one of the motors was functioning. And also was not the pictures advertised on the website. Because of this, the trip to the sandbar took much longer than it should have, which directly reduced the amount of time we were able to enjoy at our destination. On top of the condition of the boat, the captain was rude and uncooperative, which made the experience even more unpleasant. After the trip, I contacted the company to explain what happened. I was told that management would be contacting me to address my concerns. That never happened. No one has followed up, acknowledged the situation, or made any attempt to resolve the matter. Things can go wrong, but how a company responds afterward says a lot about its customer service. We paid for a functioning boat and an enjoyable experience, and that is not what we received. The fact that management has completely failed to follow up only adds to the disappointment. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.
