Description
Most of the people living in the traditional villages of the Atlas Mountains are original settlers of Berber descent. Our day trip from Marrakech allow you to discover the traditional Berber lifestyle as it has been for hundreds of years. You can explore the farmers’ markets with their abundance of organic vegetables, fruits, and other goods, as well as live animals. All sorts of more modern services are available, including open air hairdressers and even a dentist! We’ll drive through villages and stop wherever you want along the way. You’ll sample mint tea, see the daily life of the tradition Berbers, and have lunch in a Berber house in a village overlooking the Atlas Mountains. The women’s argan oil cooperatives, which promote genuine argan oil from individual local sellers, are not to be missed. We also encourage you to bring any small spare clothes items such as gloves, hats, socks, shoes, and treats that you can distribute yourself to the children

We did a great 4 day trip into the mountains and desert. Incredible landscape, the Sahara night in a luxury tent was simply magical. We had a super guide and everything was very well organised. Easy and fast communication. We felt we were in reliable and good hands the whole trip.
First of all, we had a great luck with the weather that of course made the tour even better. Mohamed our guide and driver, is very professional in all ways. His driving was careful and perfectly adopted to the road conditions and the beautiful scenery that we experienced throughout the day. When it was time for lunch, we were invited into a Berber home where we were served an amazing and tasty Tagine and Couscous lunch on the roof terrace with a beautiful view over the valley. With our stomachs full we headed back towards Marrakech where and we arrived to the hotel just before the Morocco - Portugal match. What at perfect day!
