Great walking tour - worth the $$$!

Nassor was our guide today. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the history of Zanzibar, as well as about the mix of cultures here. He also taught us some Swahili words, which we appreciated. I would highly recommend this company and be sure to ask for Nass by name! :)

Stonetown tour with Rakib- highly recommend

We had a great tour with Rakib! We were staying on the east side of Zanzibar and were able to easily arrange transportation through Rakib for a reasonable price. For us, the tour was the perfect sampler as we were not actually staying in Stonetown. More importantly, we just appreciate Rakib for who he is. As a guide, Rakib is responsive, professional, and very knowledgeable. He is a genuine, kind, and incredibly personable individual. It felt like walking around town with someone you’ve known forever. We appreciated him spending a couple extra hours with us and all the history he gave us. Asante sana rafiki! We would highly recommend booking with Rakib!

Rakib was a fantastic guide and made our Stone Town experience so enjoyable! The lunch spot he took us to was excellent, and we really appreciated him going out of his way to pick us up in Nungwi despite the distance. We highly recommend spending an afternoon exploring Stone Town with Rakib!

The city and Rakib

Beautiful Stone Town tour with an amazing guide! We had a fantastic time exploring Stone Town today. The city is beautiful, full of history, culture and incredible places to discover, but what really made the experience special was our guide, Rakib. Rakib was absolutely amazing. His explanations were interesting, detailed and full of passion, and you can really feel how much he knows and loves Zanzibar and its history. He made the whole visit very enjoyable and helped us understand and appreciate the city much more. We really enjoyed every moment of the tour and had a great time walking through the streets of Stone Town while listening to Rakib’s stories and explanations. A beautiful experience, a wonderful city and an outstanding guide. Thank you, Rakib! Absolutely recommended! 🇹🇿🌴🤝💯

Fantastic Stone Town tour with a passionate, proud Zanzibari guide. An absolute must-do!

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide! He picked us up at our hotel, brought us to Stone Town, gave us the complete tour and afterwards even dropped us off at the airport. Already on the way from the hotel to Stone Town, he told us a lot about Zanzibar and its history. In Stone Town itself he guided us around wonderfully, explaining all the details and the history of Stone Town as well. He is a very passionate and proud Zanzibari who knows how to tell the history of his island beautifully. You can really feel his passion and pride for his country, and he conveys it wonderfully. It also struck me that he knows a lot of people there, which gives you a reassuring feeling as a tourist. A fantastic tour, a fantastic guide and above all a fantastic human being! An absolute must-do when visiting Zanzibar.

Informative short walk

Nasoor was our guide. He picked us up from the hotel at the right time. He was informative and showed us the major historical stops. Unfortunately we couldn’t get inside due to renovation. The communication with the company was also very smooth by WhatsApp.
