Fantastic experience!
What a joy this was! My fiancée and I had so much fun creating our mosaics. We now have a whole new level of appreciation for this beautiful art form. The teacher, Nadia, and her assistant, Marta, were warm, patient, and encouraging. They let us work at our own pace and gave us space to be creative. The location is beautiful - you’ll feel like a true artist in Nadia’s beautiful studio! At the end of the class, you’ll be able to see your piece *mostly* finished, but it won’t be fully complete until the concrete cures over the next two days. Nadia will wrap up your piece so it is protected for its journey home. We’re so excited to unwrap our work! The finished piece in its packaging is around 6”x6”x2” and is pretty heavy, so plan your packing accordingly. Overall, highly recommend!

My family (me, my...
My family (me, my husband, our daughter and her boyfriend) all loved this experience. The teacher speaks little English, but we had no problem understanding her and her instructions. She is very helpful and demonstrated what we were to do. We had a great time making our projects and can't wait to get home and open them!

Would definitely recommend
Lovely people and a nice quiet spot. It was very therapeutic haha! I wanted to make something different then the examples for my grandmother and she explained everything very good. You spend a lot longer on a small space then you think you do, it was like a puzzle but with little pieces of stone. Would definitely recommend!

Unique experience
It was an amazing experience — like nothing we have ever done. Would recommend to try. Fun, unique and interesting. Loved that some regular students came in too and were working on beautifully complex mosaics as well

This was an amazing, awesome class. Excellent experience. Would recommend it to anyone. It was thorough, interesting, interactive. You got to make your own mosaic to take home from the very beginning step all the way to the end. Jean Marco was the main teacher of this class when we went but the head teacher (and owner) Nadia, took over once he had to leave. The class was 3 hours but I was taking too long but she didn’t make me feel rushed and was very kind when I tried to apologize for going so far over time. They had a gathering of students by coincidence that day in the other room that was wrapping up and Nadia even offered us cake and chocolates and espresso from that get together. This was genuinely my favorite experience of going to Italy and I would recommend it to anyone that has even the smallest interest in taking the class. It was absolutely worth it!
