Peter was a great guide. The tour really gives you a lot of information about Boston and the history of Boston. Peter is a safe driver who keeps the tour engaging. On a cold winter day it was wonderful to be in a warm car.

If you are looking for the perfect way to see Boston without battling the freezing temperatures, this is it. Our group of four booked this tour on a whim, and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The 'warm van' promise was fully kept, but the real star of the show was our guide, Peter. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Often, a three-hour drive can feel long, but Peter kept our attention the entire time. He has an endless supply of fascinating stories and local history that you simply wouldn't get from a guide book. He managed to make the city come alive while we stayed perfectly comfortable. If you want a tour that feels personal, engaging, and incredibly comfortable, ask for Peter. Worth every cent!
This was the PERFECT way to get an interesting, funny and warm tour of Boston Highlights. Peter was accommodating and kind and all of us (aged 4 to adult) had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Thank you, Peter!
We left the tour early because it was so uncomfortable to be with this tour guide. He fooled us with all the right things to say at the beginning of our tour such as feel free to ask any questions, let me know if you need air or heat etc. As the tour progressed, it was all about him. He wanted to control everything - every step of the way, every conversation, every belief, everything. He even said I am going to give you a test at the end of our tour to see if you were listening. We thought he was joking at first yet no laughter or just kidding followed. He was so demeaning to my husband when my husband inquired about where Cheers was filmed. My husband was so sweet and engaging but this man wasn't having it. He was going to prove that my husband was wrong. He was rigid, unengaging, patronizing and unwilling to be interpersonal with communication whatsoever. And the real validation of our decision to cut the tour short after one long, excruciating hour happened when we told him we needed to end the tour and get back to the hotel due to work. We already knew telling him that we were uncomfortable was just going to lead to another precarious situation with him so we opted for a safe way out. He clearly was so agitated that we were not under his control any longer. He became passive aggressive. He started driving recklessly and irresponsibly even after knowing that his excessive speed and dangerous moves were frightening to us. We actually feared for our lives. We can't believe that we paid an exorbitant amount of money for nothing but a traumatic experience. We pray no one else falls victim to this unsafe tour. I never leave reviews unless I feel strongly. In this case, I feel morally obligated.
Patricia, I think your review is very unfair. I “wanted to control everything”… well, that’s what a tour guide does. If you had gotten into the car and I asked you where we should go or what we should see, I wouldn’t have been doing my job would I? I’m sorry you didn’t like my joke about giving you a test, usually it goes over pretty well. And I’m sorry you thought I was demeaning to your husband about the Cheers Bar, I don’t remember the conversation, but that wasn’t my intent. I thought he was nice. When you decided to cut the tour short because he had an emergency business call in 30 minutes, I took you back to your hotel immediately so you would be there for it. I did not drive unsafely, I never do. And I don’t know what to make of the idea that I was “agitated that you were not in [my] control any longer”… perhaps you should seek professional help. I gave 115 tours in 2025 and got 26 five-star reviews, nothing else, ever, until yours. I like what I do, and I am good at it, and that is reflected in other reviews- yours is the outlier. Most of my guests are very kind and honest. “We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend”…”Great navigator and host for the beautiful city of Boston”… “Best travel experience ever!”—were comments from the three tours on this site just prior to yours. I prefer to take their opinion over yours and, obviously, my customers would agree.
Peter was so knowledgeable about American history and just Boston and surrounding areas. He spoke clearly and was very jovial. We throughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend this tour and tour guide!
Great navigator and host for the beautiful city of Boston! Impressive knowledge. Peter drove and managed traffic while never missing a beat in his narrative. Great option when family members are unable to walk around the city.

This was a very enjoyable way to get a feel for Boston’s history and all it has to offer while staying warm on a blustery March day. Peter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the ride was clean and comfortable.
